~Keeping Christ in Christmas
~Christmas is not illegal
~It is okay to sing Carols
~It is okay to have displays
~It is okay to say Merry Christmas
~Believe in the Miracle of Christmas

Lets see if we can spread the true spirit of Christmas. We have an excellent way of reaching thousands through the internet. Let each of us do our part in letting people know
Christ is the reason for Christmas.. Not adding sales up on cash registers for gifts bought, not replacing the word Christmas for Seasons Greetings or Happy Holidays. Let's insist on saying only Merry 'Christ'mas!
Christmas is not santa claus, not Rudolph, not replacing the beautiful Christmas Carols with senseless tunes that have taken their place. How sad Jesus must be to hear.. Grandma got ran over by a reindeer! Christmas is not for seeing how far we can go into debt trying to please loved ones, and certainly not for putting so much stress on ourselves, we break down, try suicide, or hate the thought of Christmas! How must Jesus feel to know His birthday has taken on a commercial race that causes Christmas to be the most dreaded time of the year for many.
If each of us do our part on insisting there is no other reason for Christmas, than the birth of our Savior, maybe some schools and stores will see the truth about Christmas and stop worrying about what the ACLU says about it. Perhaps it may pave the way for bringing God back to power in America!
Christ changed the world with the help of only 12 men! Just think of what the thousands of Christians on the internet could do, if we stand
together and demand.....
Remember the reason for the season is Jesus

CHRISTMAS VERSION of 1st-Corinthians 13

If I decorate my house perfectly with plaid bows, strands
of twinkling lights and shiny balls, but do not show love
to my family, I'm just another decorator.

If I slave away in the kitchen,
baking dozens of Christmas cookies,
preparing gourmet meals and arranging a beautifully adorned
table at mealtime: but do not show love to my family, I'm
just another cook.

If I work at a soup kitchen, carol in the nursing home, and
give all that I have to charity; but do not show love to my
family, it profits me nothing.

If I trim the spruce with shimmering angels and crocheted
snowflakes, attend a myriad of holiday parties
and sing in the choir's cantata
but do not focus on Christ, I have missed the point.

Love stops the cooking to hug the child. Love sets aside
the decorating to kiss the spouse.

Love is kind, though harried and tired.

Love does not envy another's home
that has coordinated Christmas china and table linens.

Love does not yell at the kids to get out of the way,
but is thankful they are there to be in the way.

Love does not give only to those who are able to give in return;
but rejoices in giving to those who cannot.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all
things, and endures all things. Love never fails.

Video games will break, pearl necklaces will be lost, golf
clubs will rust; but giving the gift of love will endure.

Amen!
love to and prayers for you sister.

On this day, Jesus was borned to do the following for each of us....this was sent by a former BK member to me that knows of my stuggles right now...I KNOW I have friends!

Your Attorney

After living what I felt was a "decent" life, my time on earth
came to the end.

The first thing I remember is sitting on a bench in the waiting
room of what I thought to be a court house.

The doors opened and I was instructed to come in and have a seat
by the defense table.

As I looked around I saw the "prosecutor."

He was a villainous looking gent who snarled as he stared at me.

He definitely was the most evil person I have ever seen.

I sat down and looked to my left and there sat My Attorney,
a kind and gentle looking man whose appearance seemed so familiar to
me,I felt I knew Him.

The corner door flew open and there appeared the Judge in full
flowing robes.

He commanded an awesome presence as He moved across the room I
couldn't take my eyes off of Him.

As He took His seat behind the bench, He said, "Let us begin."

The prosecutor rose and said,

"My name is Satan and I am here to show you why this man
belongs in hell."

He proceeded to tell of lies that I told, things that I stole,
and In the past when I cheated others. Satan told of other horrible
Perversions that were once in my life and the more he spoke, the
further
down in my seat I sank.

I was so embarrassed that I couldn't look at anyone, even my own
Attorney, as the Devil told of sins that even I had completely
forgotten
about.

As upset as I was at Satan for telling all these things about
me, I was equally upset at My Attorney who sat there silently not
Offering any form of defense at all.

I know I had been guilty of those things, but I had done some
good in my life - couldn't that at least equal out part of the harm
I'd
done?

Satan finished with a fury and said, "This man belongs in hell,
he is guilty of all that I have charged and there is not a person
who
can prove otherwise."

When it was His turn, My Attorney first asked if He might
approach the bench.

The Judge allowed this over the strong objection of Satan,
and beckoned Him to come forward.

As He got up and started walking, I was able to see Him in
His full splendor and majesty.

I realized why He seemed so familiar; this was Jesus
representing me, my Lord and my Savior.

He stopped at the bench and softly said to the Judge, "Hi,
Dad," and then He turned to address the court.

"Satan was correct in saying that this man had sinned,
I won't deny any of these allegations.

And, yes, the wage of sin is death, and this man deserves to be
punished."

Jesus took a deep breath and turned to His Father with
outstretched arms and proclaimed, "However, I died on the cross so
that
this person might have eternal life and he has accepted Me as his
Savior, so he is Mine."

My Lord continued with, "His name is written in the book of life
and no one can snatch him from Me.

Satan still does not understand yet.
This man is not to be given justice, but rather mercy."

As Jesus sat down,

He quietly paused, looked at His Father and said,
"There is nothing else that needs to be done.

I've done it all."

The Judge lifted His mighty hand and slammed the gavel down.
The following words bellowed from His lips..

"This man is free."

The penalty for him has already been paid in full.

Case dismissed."

As my Lord led me away, I could hear Satan ranting and raving,
"I won't give up, I will win the next one." I asked Jesus as He gave
me
my instructions where to go next, "Have you ever lost a case?"

Christ lovingly smiled and said,

"Everyone that has come to Me and asked Me to represent them
has received the same verdict as you,

~Paid In Full~

"Stop telling God how big your storm is.
Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!"

I say "Merry Christmas", not "Happy Holidays". Afterall, It's a Christian belief. We dont ask Jewish people to stop celebrating "Hanakah" or Africain Americans to stop celebrating "Kawanza".
Jesus IS the reason for the season. Without HIS birth and death and resurection, where would we be?

this is a huge bi tch of mine! it is now politically incorrect to say 'Merry Christmas'. i am so sic k of this entire country bending to the complaints of a pis sy few. and politicians are going along with this crap. if they want seperation of church and state, fine but let's go all the way. no more holidays for government workers, and no extra pay for working on sundays. no more tax dollars to decorate the white house or to throw elaborate parties at Christmas time. i talked to Sen Dave Hobson a few weeks ago about this very thing and he was in full agreement. anyway, that's my vent.
