The person you choose to be with should support your dreams and respect your values.
Being accepted is a requirement in all relationships. Nobody wants to be with someone who rejects them for what they believe, or judges them for certain traits of their personality.
You're entitled to your own decisions, beliefs, goals, etc. When someone truly loves you, they love the whole package you come in. This includes the physical you, the emotional you and the dreams and values that come along with you.
After all, that's the true beauty of being an individual. And, the one you choose to be with should be grateful.

i think part of the female thing(some males) is to give and keep on giving in order to truley give we have to keep ourselves full--a great short book i read "the gift of taking" if we look at the beauty of a tree--that tree can't give us anything without it having taken 1st--water and food from the soil--it give us the over abundance it has without the over abundance it dies!!!!!!!!!!!!

and yes there are times we need to keep on giving--but we reach burn out unless we take the time to reflect and feed our souls

Nodey, You are a very sweet and caring woman and the two that you speak of know this! I, for one, am so blessed with the love and support of loved ones! Without you all, I would cease to thrive...to want...to need to be! I'll continue this journey with hopes and prayers that the next one will be lighter and a happier one! A wise and Blessed Brother of mine reminded me just the other day that "all will be as it should be!" While I try to remember this, there are times that it just doesn't seem so...thank you, Sister, and the Brother that I speak of, for the reminders! God's blessings!!!

Respect and support. Two very important words. I read this today with two very important people in mind.
A dear friend is hurting over the lack of support from the one she loves. She doesn't ask for much. In fact,she gives so much more than she gets. It's a relationship breaker when your loved one doesn't support you during hard times. To her,I give my unconditional love and support when others have failed her. I ask her to be strong,to never give up. She is loved more than she can possibly know.


To the other very important person.When times are tough,and the flaws start becoming more apparent,I will support and pick you up when you have stumbled. My love comes without conditons.

Smile, I needed this gentle reminder today. Yes, we are who we are and hopefully we will meet someone who accepts the whole package... and, as you said, is grateful for the person we are. Never sell yourself short. Do not let someone bring you down because you did not live up to their expectations. Do not try to be someone they want you to be just so that they will accept and love you. Just be yourself and in time the aura that you emit will be the beacon in anothers eyes.

Smile...Thank you, sometimes we forget our worth and try to be what others want us to be.
