Hi, a friend told me about this site so I figured I would sign up. I just wanted to say HI to all of you and would love to hear about any positive experiences people have had with meeting someone. To be fair, you can tell me the negative too if you'd like.

I have gone on trips/vacations and yes met some men on here. All great ppl, but as for a relationship> no!
no one in my area.. and I am fine being me and having fun .... so no rush like so many on here NEED a man, need a relationship .... just make friend, have fun and if it is meant to be it will happen.

DD, which forums are helpful? there are so many, if you could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. I'm new here.
by the way, I think you were the one looking for a comfortable bike for short folks - i'm 5'2" and I ride a honda shadow spirit 750. It's my first bike, and I find it wonderful. I'm flat footed while sitting, and I've done 16,000 miles since 2003 - nearly everyone of them comfortably (there were those 2 times in gravel that weren't that comfortable!). My next gift to myself will be highway pegs, though, so I can stretch my legs a little easier after 4 hours in the saddle.

I have met 4 guys so far and meeting another one tomorrow. There are forums on here that are really good for women to learn how to make the best of BK. I have also made friends from BK-who have been helpful, informative, and very kind. Best of luck to you and I hope you have a blast meeting people from here! I have had a problem with the long distance connections. I live in S California-and not too many men live close to me. What a bummer! I hope to find a way to get more people from my area to sign up on BK. Been riding a lot as a second lately-Just CAN'T WAIT to get my own bike!

Like anything though, there are a couple of bad apples, but they are pretty easy to spot compared to the rest of these nice folks. Just watch out for that Tinker fella, he's BAAAD NEWS!!

You'll find that there's good and bad out here. At least by being in the forums, you'll get an idea which ladies to ask about the guys that contact you. Not that all the ladies are on the up and up either, but at least it's one more place to gather informationm, and you'll really love the friends you make here.
