How many of us look at a glass as half empty, instead of half full?
I had a song playing through my head today, it will take you back a bit, "Dancing in the Streets" sung by Martha Reeves and The Vandella?s. Don?t ask me why, but that is the tune I
bounced to today. I have just gone through a very rough time in my life, and still have a long road ahead of me.
I have elderly parents, that aren?t in that great of health, and honestly neither is mine. But, my heart feels so light and so happy just to be live. I grew up with a wonderful family life, very close to my parents and very close to my sisters. I don?t think I have ever really stopped to be thankful for what I have now and what I have
had in the past. I attribute who I am today to the kind of family I was raised in. Too many of us take for granted what we have in our lives, instead of appreciating it , we learned to expect it. All I am asking, is for each and everyone of us to say our thanks, appreciate and love our family, whether it is blood or extended. I am so thankful for the friends that I have here and I wanted each and everyone of you to know it. So remember, when you get up in the morning, remember to say thank you, because you are blessed with another day

amen to that... I agree 1000%... we have all heard stories of people who survived things they shouldn't have and we have all heard stories of people who died over something really minor and no one could figure out why they died... I guess the bottom line is that since it is in God's hands and His decision, why waste time worrying about it??? We might as well go ahead and live life to the fullest, because it really isn't in our control anyway.
From an engineering perspective the glass volume is clearly in excess of the needed capacity and could be redesigned to more efficiently handle the actual work load.
Yet, look how much more capacity is present!
Oh how my cup runeth over Dear Lord!
"Oh the world is so cold. Don't care nothing for your soul that you share with your own ones!"
I think the interesting thing is that the brain is so naturally making order out of things and putting the world right that in difficult times we look for reasons and explanations when they do not exist.
It is merely a process that has been going on for thousands of years in human life and it is none the less tragic of painful but it is clearly when we need comfort, togetherness and the ability to recall the good times and share the positive currents that have moved through our lives. Humans to our current understanding our one species whose language allows them to move through time and space so though the moment maybe heavy or sad we have but to touch the merry memories or favor a hopeful future. It is hope and Love that allow us to endure all trials.
Weenie, Love ya sis! We are each blessed an life is so rare and beautiful!
My two cents is spent now..time to wait for my 24hr approval!
