I've not met anyone from BK yet cuz I'm a newbie. But what I've experienced in my life is that when I do the things that are important to me and make it a point to experience things that bring me joy or that I have a passion for, I meet people that are attracted to me and conversely that I'm attracted to. What I've noticed is that, the harder I look, the harder it is to find someone. As if healthy girls have a special kind of radar that picks up desperation .... LOL... My friends have shared the same observation. To paraphrase myself; If I take care of myself and achieve some sort of balance and contentment, beautiful people come into my life. Another observation is that; If I take care of myself and am healthy emotionally ..... unhealthy people don't stick around long ..... and, that's why she left the first of this month ..... heheheheheheh !!!!

Hey MISSROADKING... and hello to all the rest of ya's too! I've been here about a year now and have met almost a dozen women in that time. Lemme tell ya...there are some real doozies out there. It ain't always the men that are ..mmm..how shall I say... whacked? I never realized till this past year when I started "dating" for the first time in nearly 20 years just how many really screwed up people there are out there trying to find their way through life. OHHH MY GOOODNESS...there are a bunch of nice guys here. I have personally met many. I've been to Myrtle Beach, Florida, Colorado, Canada, all over Ohio and had about 50 males and females here at my home in Sept.

I've met some not so nice ones...have gotten stood up twice, dumped at a hd dealership once (thankful I met him there so I at least could drive myself the hours drive home)...and have had many dates.
Many of those dates are now great friends...some we just started and kept on the friend level.
Haven't hooked up w/the one that I want to commit one to one with yet but that's not necessarily what I am looking for either. I'm looking to meet great people w/like-minds. I am accomplishing that.
Perhaps if you focus on finding friends first...then go from there.
