Why havent we tried to promote a "sub" community within the site? One that would promote lifestyle, events, promotions, and/or get togethers that would help us meet and get to know one another on a more social level. One that u dont need a Gold membership to let each other know 'whats up'. Just an idea, not limited to those who are tattoed, but are interested in the life and/or just want to become part of something a little more local. I'll have gold membership soon and hope to be able to interact with everyone soon. Look forward to hearing from those interested. I would like to help moderate and help with any groups that previously exist that I may have missed. Thank you

There probably are sites like that - why not start your own ?

I date an award winning tattoo artist who came to the US from NZ to probate for the HA - decided the tight brotherhood and 1% life wasn't for him. He had a 60 year old granny type walk in his shop recently who got her first tattoo - what subculture?? LOL !

Now days having tattoos is no more being part of a subculture than having a bike makes you a "biker". Anyone and everyone is getting them; bikes and tattoos - doesn't mean the subcultures doen't exist - it does, but there are more people now who have tattos and have bikes than are really into the lifestlye.
I know a good many upperclass business people (some ride, some don't) who are tattooed pretty heavily. We each get them for our own reasons. You can get together and compare at any bike rally and there are plenty of tatoo contests around. Just google it in...
