Now that I have traveled to Sturgis,.. I am thinking there are a lot of you out there living in these beautiful states....but are you willing to try developing a relationship from a distance?
I can handle a ldr because I am so independent that it scares me. I had a connection with an otr truck driver but he chose to end the relationship for whatever reason i dont know... In any case I believe it is possible if one wants it bad enough. Things change and people change and thats what life is all about.
Been there, done it....Yes it can work. But like any other relationship, it takes both parties to make it work. If one person is doing all the traveling, then its not going to work. (speaking from experience)But both have to be open with each other, if and when the time comes, is someone going to move? Better to be upfront about things, before they become to serious, and then both people decide for whatever reason, they don't want to move (again, speaking from experience).
Mine is 607 miles...and with a lot of aggravation, patience , whatever could have been thrown in our path happened...you have no idea!!! But in three weeks he'll be back and our lives will carry on the way we choose....Love has no distance....Once in your heart they travel with you even if it's to get the paper...mine does....always.....Mo
the grass isnt greener anywhere else .we're all adults n free 2 choose who we want from where we want end of the day.its people that count and not plces.some of the worlds greatest love affairs n marriages have spanned continents.think its a case of if yer willing 2 make the effort and put yer heart into it.
I am willing to try it out. No problem. Hey, CA is about the same distance as UK LOL So what. That is what makes it interesting. You don't have to have a relationship with someone in a 50 mile radius. More choices. xx B

The tough part is getting to know each other enough to decide if it is something you both want to pursue. And sometimes it takes a second start at it and a very understanding and loving woman.
A LDR is hard. I've had 3 the 1st lasted 22 yrs, the 2nd 3 yrs the most recent 3 months. Work keeps me away from home way too much. It just falls apart over time. It's all I've really ever known. Will it stop me from having another? Not for a second. Go for it.
