Ok, I know Colorado real well having driven most if not all of its highways and yesterday confirmed what I think is this states best stretch of highway.

I rate things like quality of road..what type of maintenance, debris ...are found.
Road entertainmen value...curves, pins, hills...etc..things that make a motorcycle fun.
Road scenery--what makes it a memorable

So what is the best road in your state?

Not in my state, but the new cherahola skyway from Townsend Tn.over to Robbinsville NC was a really nice ride, then after a nite at the Micro Inn Biker motel at Robbinsville, head on out to the Tail of The dragon for a nice ride too.
Made the trip last summer...was a real nice ride man......

What about the road that runs along the Ohio River south of East Liverpool. Lots of little two lane winding roads in that area. I used to live in Salem, I put alot of miles on those roads a long time ago

Route 6! Straight across the top of Pennsylvania. Country two lane all the way. Lots of forests and creeks. Not hardly a traffic light the whole way. The best.

Will have to ride that sometime...sounds great...

Hey
Got my licence last year and got a 250cc Kawasaki GPX; have to have a 250 here for a year before you go on an unrestricted; the year is up and can't get rid of the Kawasaki but got a Ducati Monster 600cc instead. It goes like a dream. Perhaps i need to call myself Ducatidiva (doesn't have the same ring to it)

Great bike lady(almost good as a Honda), lol

The best roads here in New Hampshire change from year to year depending on frost heaves & repavement schedule but my favorite roads are in the northern Georgia mountains, North Carolina, and Tennesee.

I have to agree with SpeedyJerry about US 1...but once in Vero Beach area, switch over to A1A...follows the river and is a nice slow even pace of curves, water, beautiful scenery!

I'm thinking that I have to try that US1 in Vero Beach Labor Day weekend.

Dayum skippy! And maybe even A1A???

Well that's up to the tour guide.

The road from Lake Lure NC thru Batcave is pretty good too, especially when the tourist are gone. But the dragon is on top to the list too.

I agree with you RevP, st rte 664 is nice, but a lot of c-rockets ride that road. St Rte 93 is not quite as curvy and the hills aren't as steep. Nice gently rolling hills, scenery is just as good, and still not too far from Old Man's Cave. I almost got wiped out once by a truck that was halfway in my lane on a hairpin turn on 664 once. Good thing my reaction time is still good and the Honda has great brakes.
