hi. thanks for the responses. i have had a few people offer me places to stay in other states. i really do appreciate that, but it is not easy to just up and leave. transportation is a problem and it is hard to leave my home state. i am trying to hang in here and find somewhere locally to stay. of course, if i have to, i may have to leave state.
since i am currently stuck here, there are some things we need that we are having trouble getting. i am able to recieve postal service, i just have to pick it up from the post office, since my address no longer exists. i know we are not supposed to give our addresses, even though i am not in the house, but i guess to be safe, if there is anyone that can send us some things we need, contact me, and i will give the address.
this is embarassing, but here goes. we need personal feminine things. the military and churches give out pads and tampons, but they don't think of other things. after spending 5 days in toxic water up over the waist, we are in desperate need of douches, yeast infection products, feminine deodorant sprays. it's not like we can just go to the store or doctor to get these things, so please do not send money, we need the actual products.
school starts monday, and my daughter lost her bra. she is a 32A. i know that might not sound like she needs a bra, but she has a 20 inch waist, so her boobs stick out and i really don't like her running around without a bra. my bra has moldy spots and the wire is poking out, one of the hooks is off. i just paid $50 a month ago for this victoria secret bra, now it's trash. my size is 36D. i also need panties, i only wear thongs or g-strings because i don't like panty lines. i wear, i guess a size 8 or large in panties. victoria's secret here is gone. i would appreciate any help you can give. thanks

hi. i hope you can help me. i am here in kenner. it is in the new orleans metro area, by the airport. i lost my home. i have an 11 year old daughter and several pets. we are homeless. no one and no shelter will take the pets. there are no hotel rooms and the only places for rent are people's private residences that are going for outrageous amounts, some as much as $3000 a month for a small home because these contractors can afford it. us locals are s.o.l. the use of internet is very limited. i know we are not supposed to put our numbers, but i'm hoping that biker kiss will make an exception because this is a state of emergency. it is a cell, sometimes you have to call like 10 times in a row to get through. i really doubt that anyone with bad intentions would brave entering this mess just for little ole me. and my chances of survival on the street are far more scarier than meeting a bad guy on here. so i pray there is someone out there willing to help us out. i will attempt to put my number and if i am not allowed, i guess just send me a message and hope i get computer access again. i do have some money to help out. thanks.
