Hey all, sorta new to the site. I just wanted to see if anyone else on the site owns a Victory, and what the people here think of "The new american motorcycle". Check my pics If you've never seen a Vegas.
Hey , hows it goin,1st post.
I was at the local Victory / Harley shop to get my ride inspected, and they are some graet looking bikes and Ive heard some good things about em , but I think Ill be keepin some class under my ass for now
It's one of the few factory bikes made that has a similar weight to hp ratio as my 03 Indian Chief. Two of my buddies ride Vics, and we up/down shift at the same time. Handling and performance is great. I don't like the front fork setup on the newest model though. Center of gravity on that model just doesn't look right. Keep the shiny side up.
I've never ridden a Victory but the two people I know that have them love them and rave about the performance, reliability and ride. To me the overall styling looks good but the engine looks too "clean," too square....too...Japanese.
Hey all thanks for the replies and kind words. Thuder, I think the bike you are referrin to is the Victory 8-ball, which is a blacked out vegas. Polaris is the parent company of Victory, so it is an American motorcycle from Minnesota.
I must admit that I am partial to my own brand and love the way it performs, But I really love all motorcycles and it is the ride that matters most to me.
I'm sort of a newbie, having learned to ride in late 2003, but since then I've put approx 10,000 miles on 2 bikes ( my other is a 1994 honda Pacific coast). Probably nothing to brag about compared to the lifelong riders on this site, but I'm trying to play catch up.
lol Doc! You're are just too friggin cute mister! Love ya, Bro! Thanks for being here for me tonight! Bad news is always easier to take when someone who cares for you is available! You're all that in my book! :)
