I'm new here but I wanted to tell you all something I'm sure you already know. 2 of my friends were in a horrific accident in Ocean City,MD due to one impatient driver. They were on a bike, he in a car. Old story bike vs car guess who won? Now one of my best and oldest friends is dead and her husband is fighting for his life a quadrapaligic in a Maryland hospital. Please please everyone watch out for those as*holes! People who do not ride, people in cars that have no respect for the damage they can do and like this guy people who are in a hurry and don't care who they'll hurt because they "have to get there now" Being right will only get you so far and could possibly get you dead or worse. My friends had the green light but it did them no good. Be safe everyone!

So sorry to hear about losing your best friend in such a senseless manner. I wish you and your friend all the best. He has a very long road ahead of him but it will be made easier having friends like you in his life. Good luck and God Bless

Thank you everyone for all your kind words and good thoughts and prayers. We're still keeping our fingers crossed for Bob. He's a great guy who doesn't deserve this and we're trying to stay positive in this awfull time. It's nice to know there are people out there who care.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss LTR. I was in O.C. for four days last weekend for Delmarva.

I lost a good friend several years ago and my best friends son was killed in 2001.Even through such loss,we keep riding because it's in our blood.

Hope it wasn't a case of "Road Rage", some people get in that left hand lane and toodle along sightseeing creating friction for those on a mission!.

My heart goes out to you on the loss of your friend,would have a hard time trying to remember all the people I have lost to cage drivers.They will look right at you and pull out,they just don't care as far as I can tell. No matter how many times I hear of some one dying because of something like this it just makes me madder than hell.You are in my prayers!

Hey ride 2011.......I am sincerely sorry to hear about your friends! You'd think with all bikes on the road now (especially the louder ones), people in cars would be more cautious and have some consideration for the people on 2 wheels instead of 4.....DAM!! I hate to hear this........my prayers to you and your friends.
