Ummm... DD!!.. The worse part of moving is MOVING!!!..
Probably why I haven't since 1989..LOL.. Have FUN!!!.. hehe Spring Has Shown her/his face here for the past few days.. I found a young birdy chick yesterday in the parking lot at work. Move it off the lot to give it a chance... I here that the beginning tomorrow and through the rest of week will be back to winter though.. Good thing work is keeping my mind off of riding!!!.... Later..
I have my dream bike...
Its the bike I have always wanted and when I saw it I couldnt resist.. My first ride was all Smiles.
Its not as comfy as others for the long haul but I deal with it...
Reasons for it being my dream bike?
I like the fact that I can change it out quickly and as my mood changes...
I can easly switch out the bags with another set or remove them entirely..
I have two back rests, one with a pad and one without.. which I have modified to easily swith them out..
4-saddles to choose from depending on the ride and company I keep.. Whether a long ride or passenger which calls for the mustang touring seat or a short ride/nite on the town where I put on the badlander seat... or two others.
To me the Buckhorn bars make the bike.. I know others replace them with Drag bars but I havent cause I like the Classic look of them.. As with the turn signals being mounted on them also.. I just cant bring myself to switch the bars out or move the turn signals to the forks. Turn signals on the forks reminds me of jap bikes.. Others Razz me cause I have kept my original Grips and bars !!!!.. LOL... But Ive ridden other bikes and I am very comfortable with the stock ones. Tooo me....! I compare comfort with looks and want the best of both.. I Take my time and think things through.. But this spring I will be replaceing the Stock Grips.. Only because the Rubber is Wearing on them and Falling off.. Im looking at the Classic style all rubber with an hour glass shape by harley or aftermarket..
Well it still is a work in progress and I enjoy being able to wrench because of the technology.. Last Year I replaced the Front Forks with Chrome ones and the Head Lamp Bucket.. Little at a time for me.. Maybe by the time Im 50, I will be done.. NOT!...
Wooohooo is right! Went riding yesterday to Malibu along PCH. Had a problem with the gas tank. It ran out too early. The bike ran out of gas on the fwy-I switched it to reserve and went 15 miles to the next gas station. It started to rain along the way. We rode along the cliffs next to the ocean. hehehehe. I had such an adventure, slick roads, new bike outofgas, truck blow, no windshield, rain, An ABSOLUTE BLAST! It's like breathing...I have over 100 m in one day. I feel like I've been broken in. This filly's in love; with her bike!

Nah, that'd be greedy. One of the harley men in the pic would be ju$t dandy.
IrishroseCa?, what year will you have? Shoot, I'd take two as well, but then would have to post messages under 3somes. HAHAHA
Well, I decided yesterday that my bike is my 'Knight' and I will just ride it instead! roflmao. I had such a blast for my first ride on my 'new' bike yesterday.. It's 4:30 am, and I am ready to go! It's cool and cloudy, however it hasn't started to rain yet, so I wanna go riding out to Malibu and see the sunrise while straddling my powerful knight.
