Is it me, or is there anyone else out there, who reads a profile, reads it again, sounds pretty wonderful, meet the person, and can't possibly believe this was the same person who put out such a warm enticing ad?
You date them, you look for all of the qualites they have enticed you with , and you may find 1 out of 10?

Well like most people i guess we may just be scared we don't match up, to what we might think of ourselves. I'm 47, married with kids, I ride cause i like to ride. I go on trips cause i like it. At some point you just have to sit back and tell the truth, cause if you lie u get found out eventually. Sorry no pic, a fat grey headed springer rider....

I've just joined this site, so don't have much experience here. But can tell you from other sites... that people must not read profiles to find what you're interested in. I'm not a big promoter of online dating and here's why: the gals that contact me are either 3 times my size, or 5 years younger than me yet somehow manage to look like my grandma. *sigh*. (Don't have many photos of me and cycles for some reason... this is an OLD one from my high school days.)

Yeah, I've wondered the same thing. When I've actually signed up for the "Premium" or "Gold" membership on some of these sites, and my membership is about to expire, suddenly out of the blue pops these apparently "hot" babes who just discovered you, and make all kinds of promises to get in touch, and as soon as you sign up and PAY for another month, they disappear. That's why you won't see me wasting any money HERE on "Gold". You biker ladies can look me up, and find a creative way for us to get in touch, and I'm good to go!

I find those type of guys on the street, too. Met a guy about a month ago, not online, and he seemed like the sweetest guy on earth. He ended up being a control freak and very verbally abusive. Are there any "NORMAL" guys left at all??
