If anyone gets a chance go and see the new movie out today, Worlds Fastest Indian, has anthony hopkins in it, based on a true story,and a great piece of history.

you can go to the site, named after the movie and it will tell you his whole life story, they have links, saw it friday and sunday, and yes, the record still stands.

i will definitely be checking this one out. didn't the dude spend like 20 years building the thing?? anyway, he brought it here to the salt flats and set the world record at the time. don't know how long the record stood or if it still stands.
