The size of a bike can be intimidating but once your on and you go, you're loving it and you don't even think about it. As long as your feet touch the ground you're okay. I had a small bike to start and 2 mos. later I got a bigger one. I felt alot more comfortable on the bigger bike. Now I want an even bigger one and I'm only 5'1". Now where's the money for me to buy it. LOL

See There NodeyPoo, this lady is 5'1'' too and she ain't a scared to scoot.

Princess Nodey, you can throw any combination of letters together you like, I understand you totally. Perhaps in a few weeks after sittin on the floor a couple hours with you leaning left and right behind me hangin on tight then goin scooterpootin through the mountains for a few days you might even learn a few more new words as well.

Congrats. It's just so awesome to take control and have to freedom to ride when you want and not wait to sit and watch the back of a helmet, or head depending on the state.

yes i think it will be great--can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

yet what i enjoy most in being on the back is i'm not being in control--and sometimes that in of itself is great and i don't think that will change especially if i'm with someone special

Dunno BHG. I looked at one at the HD dealership. I just don't think it's something I would need to start out on. Looks a little too big for me. I'm 5'1", and doubt if I could hold on up that heavy starting out.

When I ride, I forget about everything negative and just enjoy it like nothing else. It's so awesome to ride your own. You'll love it.

It's a wonder thang!

I posted a pic of a bike that's for sale right where I work on my profile, wish I could afford it, would love to own one for myself. I like being on the back but would love to be upfront also! Have fun / be safe!

Nodey...why do you think your too small?? I am only 5'2"...the guys at the HD shop told me that bike has the most wide range of seat adjustment...and as far as my size/weight..is probably the best bike for me to handle

hmmm the low rider has the lowest seat height I think of all the stock harleys and I hate to say this but friends don't recommend softails to other friends - but like I said ride them all and make yer own choice - that's what it's all about
