Going out to dinner then maybe going to the movies or taking a drive just to get to know each other.

Meeting for a drink or coffee maybe a walk in the park. Somewhere good for talking and getting acquanted.

Meet for coffee or soda... ok, it's a first date.. Somewhere that isn't really noisy so we can get to know each other a bit thru the normal Q & A session, see if we are both interested in going on the 'real date' now. You can normally tell after a short time if both of us are interested. If we don't 'click' ... no one feels the pressure to stick it out. We know we've all been there! If all goes well... then we go someplace neither of us has been before for a meal that way it is fresh for both, not either ones 'turf'. There has to be someplace mutually agreeable, someplace off the new or old, just new to us. After eating, a nice walk in the area or if we have decided to ride to this date.. a nice relaxing ride to round off the afternoon. I prefer not to plan too many detail, it just gets in the way, I'm more of a spontaneous person. See where things are going and how they play out.
