It is impossible to tell If you will get along with someone until you met in person. I'm not huge on long drawn out messaging back an forth. Meet somewhere half way and have a meal together and see if there is potential chemistry between you. Then set up a fun date for the future if you want.

Well, recently I met my son and his GF for Indian food then went to Inland Empire Speedway in Berdoo for a night of Speedway bike racing. For most people, that WOULD be "something...completely-different..." But the usual coffee and dessert at Starbuck's would work, too. A mean (not necessarily dinner) would likewise be desirable, and preferably NOT a chain restaurant (okay, ONE exception: I am a big fan of Panera bread!).

Wow, this is a tough one! Tough when you're 16 and tough when you're close to 100! One thing remains the same (or should)........Its 2012 so there are sure a lot of whackos out there (male and female), so I would prefer her to tell me where to meet her so she is in full control of the situation in case she wants to run the other direction. Glass of Wine, Cup of Coffee or maybe atop of a skyscraper......at a Harley dealership in the service Department?

The perfect date has to be centered around a beautiful ride, through some gorgeous part of Austin, straight to a badass burger joint or lake-side steakhouse. Of course a perfect date wouldn't end there, but would get better and better, as dessert ends up being a few different dank draft beers at the best hole-in-the-wall bars I've come to find, and culminating in a kung-fu movie complimented by a bottle off my wine rack and some damn good Gouda. Sound appealing? I'm drooling as I type this. Give me a damn excuse to do it already!!
