I know this has been done before but I need to burn a few songs for a CD for upcoming bike trips.
I think it was done last year but I didn't pay attention cuz at that time my bike didn't have a CD player. That has changed.
What is your favourite heading down the road song....one you love to hear as you cruise the highway?????????

What a great list Cali!!

Whispers to SC...he bought a geezer glide, wink, wink. Oh, Hi Teebis!!..I said...the geese are in the sky!

I would add,"Mississippi Queen", Mountain,
"Poncho and Lefty", Townes Van Zandt,
"Leavin Louisiana", Emmy Lou Harris,
"Willin" by Little Feat
"Ramble On" Zeppelin,
"Midnight Rider", Allman Bros or Joe Cocker
"Heroes" Bowie
"Life is a Carnival" and "Cripple Creek" The Band
"Leland,Mississippi" Johnny Winter,
"Dallas", Johnny Winter,
Any kick ass guitar from the Stones or Humble Pie and of course...SRV and gotta have Motown :)
and my all time favorite, "Green Onions" Booker T and the MG's. I just think that is such a cool biker song.
I never knew what the MG's stood for, I thought it was the car, lol. Noskool is the one who told me it stood for Memphis Greats.

This is when I am driving....never heard anything on a bike except the wind and the rumble. Maybe you will let me listen on your bike Teebis? :)

When i ride All i like to hear is that Duo called Vance, and Hines singing their top 10 hit "straight Shots" lol That's something i haven't done yet, although my bike came wired for a MP3 player and i got 2 helmets with intercom. I kind of got into this to get away from things, although that don't help you much...lol shoot

I also like the CD I found quite awhile back and at times play it here in the house to get ma 'tude going for deep cleaning......
(and I'm "not even sure you can find it really, but)

"Legendary(Harley Davidson)Road Songs." (even has the bike sound, startin up an taking off and SOME of the songs are; Rock You Like a Hurricane,Smoke on The Water,Roll Down The Highway, I'm Bad,I'm Nationwide and Fire Lake)

Sorry no longer have the case/cover DUH (it was that long ago, 2000) but I've listened to it on LONG trips and WHAO lovin it so much. And YES I have to 'watch' my speed as get into the music.....but the ones listed above by everyone are also really good ones to have....YEP...
Good luck ....
Stay safe....

I find my speed adjust to the songs unless I have the cruise on LOL, so be careful there. Troll has the best loaded MP3 player I have ever listened to. (he was concerned that we listened to all his tunes) His son has a band (I think) and they play great tunes. I like all kinds of tunes I go from Rock to Country to Jazz to Classical, so what type of music do you like? Start there.
