Passion... passion can be a killer no?.. look at the stakes we go to, the stakes we drive and what we leave at stake in the name of passion... For some, to give it all means everything, for everything to some its giving their all.. i like to think i draw a fine line between pleasure and pain...For me through past experiences ive learned that the more it hurt was the better i knew it would someday feel.. What are u passionate about in your life?... What sacrifices have u made to pay that price for where your heart leads you?...

I'm not really sure how to answer this because there is very little in my life that I have not pursued passionately. I can't remember exactly where I read it but I once read that as deep as our joy goes so goes the depth of our sorrow. I know it's true. The world of form is the world of duality. In the world of form, joy is pleasure, and sorrow is pain. Since nothing stays the same, what gives us joy today will somehow give us sorrow tomorrow; even if that simply means losing what gave us the joy temporarily. When we are at our deepest level of sorrow is when we are the closest to enlightenment. Therefore to me, the sacrifices I have made in the name of passion have ultimately helped me to evolve. I am grateful for the pains I have had to endure;(easier said in retrospect!) Round and round we go spiraling higher and higher.......until I believe, we reach the peak where duality is no longer necessary and all is one.

I am passionate about violence and cruelty injustice and the health and well being of people. and I have told God that is he is not interested in the same he can Sod off. Lickily we seem to be interested in the same. So I have risked Hellfire and Eternal Damnation several times. But look at Habbakuk. He had his occassional little rant too. I have lost job after job after promotion through sticking up for patient's welfare and rights. But what can i do? I have a concience, and i have actually changed things. Worn down and broken down in the process. But what the Heck!! In I have got flack back and abuse and gone through jumped up internal investigations and false allegation to remove me and lost job or moved on. But what the Heck. I can't accept the unacceptable. order to have and keep a job I have been told I have to put up with patients being left in thioer own sht for twelve hours over night, infected woundcare being put on an open wound, Charge nurses who have baseball bats in their offices and strange bruises on patients when i was them. Finding make staff on top of female patients in the beds at night, physical restraint and internal investigations by male staff of women and child rape and sexual abuse victims. - Just to see how they will respond!!! I have kept females out of the system by giving them self management of their abuse, PTSD and self harm. That is why i am looking to be independent and financially self-sufficient then I can do and say what I want without career or money consequences. If you go in the system for a minor upset or crisis you can be in there forever as the treatment is worse than the problem. Junie

LIFE is a mosaic of pleasure and pain - grief is an interval between two moments of joy. Peace is the interlude between two wars. You have no rose without a thorn; the diligent picker will avoid the pricks and gather the flower. There is no bee without the sting; cleverness consists in gathering the honey nevertheless. It is within the experience of everyone that when pleasure and pain reach a certain intensity they are indistinguishable. Pleasure and pain, though directly opposite are contrived to be constant companions. (Quotes/Gorean)

I am passionate about everything in my life.I have made sacrifices of great proportions, most of all.. in affairs of the heart. To me,there can't be pleasure without pain, in different degrees. Ultimatly, the two elements are essential ingredients of the natural perfume of my very essence.
