I started my business meeting that day off with a moment of silence..it's the least we can do. Always in our thoughts and prayers, yet it seems as many that day had forgotten. not right.....America likes to stick it's head in the sand....hopefully it won't take another tragedy to get them to pay attention. To all the firefighters and other civil servants and heros that day..Thankyou for serving our country!!!

southern those are nice pics have not seen them before. your welcome treasure, as long as people think about what the firefighters do, seems up until 9-11 they kinda went unnoticed. I have talked to a guy from NY who has made documentaries about the NY fire dept. and he says the people in NY are back to normal that was yesterdays news, they seem to forget so quickly.

I am late to this blog Fireman but I say thank you to all of your brethren and all rescue workers as they do risk their lives without hesitation to save each of us.
I've always feared that time will soften the memory of 9/11. I hope these tributes to the fallen and the victims never cease.
Thanks for this blog Fireman and for what you do.

We lost a few construction workers that went back in as well. not sure of the count. buildings like that always have floors being remodeled, and some of workers on the lower floors started heading up. every year at this time in the construction news papers, they give them honorable mention as well as the fire fighters. hard to comprehend the diversity of people that were lost that day.
Heres to everyone that lost there life that day.
