The temperature hit the high 80s here today, and it seems to have brought out all the undesireables. I lost count of all the young girls in import cars who took the phone out of their ear long enough to smile and wave at me (I would have been much more impressed if they had hung up the phones, and paid attention to traffic). I had two different nasty women, and even one guy tell me they wanted rides, while I was stopped in traffic (this reminded me why I do not carry an extra helmet). Then I had one guy pull up next to me on a new chopper. The frame on this thing had to be 8 up and 6 out, and was painted blue and green. The rider had bermuda shorts on that matched the bike, flip-flops, and a tank top. He just sat next to me revving the engine until the light changed. I kept wondering if I was in the twilight zone

I am a boots and jeans guy myself. My best friend though. rides an old 51 pan. EVERYWHERE. And he frequently rides in trunks and flip flops. I ask him how he dose it. He says the trick is to not fall off. He is 68 and been riding longer than I have been alive. Guess it works for him. As for the revving at stop lights. My old shovel has a S/S on it. I have to rev it a little at stop lights till it gets up to temp. If I keep the choke on too long. It will foul the back plug. So excuse the hell out of me.

It is illegal to use a mobile whilst driving. On the spot 200 pound fine. We have hands free and bluetooth earpieces. Yet still see people everyday manouvering with phone clutched to ear.
Best was a big bus doing a shrp turn round a hairpin bend. Driver doing it with one hand and blus phone clutched to ear with the other. Very busy corner other drivers swerving and manouvering round him. He is still jabbering to his girlfriend about the excellent BJ she gave him last night. I'm sure his passenegrs were kept enthralled and felt safe.

They have passed a bill here making it illegal to talk on the phone while driving, unless you have a hands free device. Unfortunately it is under appeal, and may take another year to go into effect

Can't stand women who can't drive, have no road sense and are overly polite to make up for it.
Can be responsible for a total stand still lock down. Yet they will still enthusiasticaly smile at you and wave like a Sunday outing by the sea.
"Stop Smiling and Start Driving you Divvy Woman"
Geez. Just feel they let the side down and are responsible for the reputaion we women get.
Other than that Male middleage aggressive drivers who come up to kiss your backside flashing and honking in the middle lane when you are overtaking at a more than resonable speed.

I will admit that the bike I was on likes a quick "wrap" to the throttle before taking off, if it has been stuck idling for a while. This is especially true in the summer months. The engine has a lot of work done to it, and just has too much cam to idle in the heat. It loads up, and needs it's throat cleared. Aside from something like that, I think revving the bike at a stop light is just simply an insecure rider looking for attention

LOL, I have yet to figure out those guy's that sit at the light and rev their engines, I figure the bike must be so out of tune that they have to do that to keep it running.

Heretic, I get so annoyed too when I see people on their cell phones while driving and not paying attention to the road. A lot of accidents are caused by this. I believe that MI is trying to ban the use of phones while driving.
