Ok guys Opra just said 51% of women in america are single. So next time ya say I can't find a woman I'll say your not looking because over 1/2 of the women are single. She also said 70% of black women are single. So what do ya think? Are we single cause we want to be or cause we figured we can do it ourself?

MSHenderson, I was recently watching a British sex education video about the 7 things to do to enhance love making in a long term relationship, and they had various couples doing the demonstrating. There were young "barbie" women, and a rubenesque lady that really turned me on. Now, that surprised me compared to all the other female forms, but I asked myself, now why do I like her over the rest. Firstly, she acted kind, gentle, just oozed love and caring and appeared with a soft smile, she was plump and eager to pleased and seemed somewhat vulnerable, so she brought out my protector instincts. The other women, seemed to want to get more and didnt require protection and she seemed to be the give-of-herself type. I tell this to my wife all the time that she looks great, but she thinks I'm just humoring her. She is more attractive to me when she is in a good and playful mood than not, but she finds it hard to just be happy. When the lights go out, and the sense of sight is removed from the equation, the other senses take over. Outward presentation is important, and people have different standards of presentation they like, but when you love someone, feelings should eclipse looks and ego challenges about you or your partners looks.

Some of the young ones are fun to look at. But when they open there mouth and let out what they have inside you will want what is real.

DD One of those "relationship" books says that a man is more affected by what he sees, but a woman is more affected by what she hears. So I guess that explains why women have to hear that you love and appreciate her. But I don't like someone pressurinsing me or having me up against a wall wanting me to say I Love them or big compliments. Feels false when I am pushed inot saying it. Also feels bad when someone is pressuring you too early in the relationhips for the "I LOVE YOU" response when you are still getting to know them. I have been called cold hearted because I wont give it til I feel it. Junie

I have never liked "Pretty Boys" Remember my rules...never date a man prettier than me, younger than me (I'm talking I could be his auntie or mommy younger) or weighs less than me. We joke about the pretty boys but no. For me anyway. Someone I loved very dearly was a big man, overweight, very tall, looked like a big bear that had seen too many fights. He is not what you could call a pretty sight. Broken down old biker. But Lord did I love that man. Because he was a good man. GOOD man. So when it's all good then who cares if the outside is a bit scuffed up? Or too heavy for someone else's tastes? Gunz, nice to see you again.

Hey Girlfriend.. I saw some of that episode I was shocked. I have to go back and say that Independence should not be a bad thing, today we need two good partners to succeed. I would like to think that not everyone is looking for MR. Goodbar. Hell well never find happiness if it's all about the looks. It should always be about the heart or there's nothing to it at all.

I'll be happy to look like Barbie as long as the man is willing to hand over $100,000 for all the plastic surgery I'll need. But, then again, do men want a Barbie with a brain that works?I know what it's like to be judged by physical form, I refuse to do that. Do I look at sweat, hard bodies, you bet I do! I'm older and wiser, but I'm not dead. People change as they get older, we're more like M&M's, we have a protective coating so we don't melt easily. And men have the peanuts!

I have been married twice. First time at age 16 to my Son's Father with a very un-happy ending. Second time at age 26,widowed at age 38. My Finace' passed away 7 years ago. Have had a few hit and miss relationships since then. My relationship now, with my Mike is truly so far,so good. I care not to ever marry again. For my own personal reasons, and because I like my freedom. Hope that does not sound weird. As for eye candy,I am no stranger to window shopping at candy stores every now and then. hehehe!! Doesn't hurt to look.

For the record I would like to say (and I do not blog much) for what it is worth I do NOT think badly of any of you gals no matter what you say or post...not even the pretty boy pics...The ones I talk to here are super nice and I respect the hell out of all of you...even though I dont know ya...it is pretty easy to tell when it is just teasing and harmeless flirting. Rock on Girls no matter what your age is!

DD, as maneater said, we're just kidding around! Many folks get the wrong impression of us gals on BK when we're teasin as we do. Prefer the mature guys, truly, and the joking, flirting, etc., etc., is just for fun on the blogs! We're all good, sincere gals!
