hey !! Stillownashovel

That is a neat scooter, infact I have a complete shovel head top end right now that is what I want to build next, all I need is the fly wheels and cases, gear set, I also want to check the cases that STD is makeing, I believe that they are machined to accept a stator? that would be cool also I want to run an altanator instead of the old genarator that way the lights wont be going out when you stop at a light ((LOL)) good ole days!!!
I have got a super "E" on my engine now , but wish that I had gone with the "B" I had hell jetting the "E" it is to big for
my little "74" incher,
you can believe this or not but back in the 60's ((LOL)) I took a Norton Comando front end and it bolted right up to a harley neck ((LOL))
if I remember right the 53 pan lower end had the external oil line? early pan's didnt have that did they?

any way that is a way kool bike!
you did a good job on it.
