After now being single for 2 years and trying a multitude of channels in the attempt to meet the "ONE", I have now learned a few things. The first is that the Carolinas really don't have a lot of eligible females. Second, long distance relationships really are all but impossible. Third, it seems like NJ and California have the best looking women on this site. Fourth, I need to buy a shirt. Fifth, there is a definate prejudice towards Harley's among the women. Sixth, it seems like everybody cheats. Seventh, the blogs are great fun. Eighth, I sure wish I could figure out what women really wanted. Ninth, how old is to old and how young is to young? Tenth and last, Why do so many women have profiles with no pictures?

You guys have been great. Jessica, it's good to see you back. Hope to talk to you again soon. HB2000 dating has always sucked, but it does have its fringe benefits. Sometimes, however, the costs are awfully high. I put this blog on for some fun, but it has run the gamut of comments. I have been rebuked for my NJ and California review of ladies. I have had my bike insulted. I now have a new wardrobe. I have made a lot of great friends. Last but not least, I am beginning to review my stance on dating. At least a little.

Should never let your your EGO decide what kind of bike you buy , should be based on Performance,Handling and individual comfort etc ! I run a Bike Night and we have every make and model show up there, from mopeds and Crotch Rockets to 140 in customs and trikes and every one gets respect and treated the same and all of them feel welcomed, we get Yuppies, Blue collar workers , 1%'s and Cops all there laughing and talking Bikes, it's a beautiful thing to watch ! No EGO's, No bike Bashing just bikers ! Bob Dylan said.."the times they are a changing " ! Peace Out !

Well now that is old talk W2S. Personally it doesn't make any difference what you ride as long as you like what you ride and you do ride. Harleys, well I have had a few, but a lot of hd owners have this big hang up about what is american. Both honda and hd use the same fork and shocks; Just look at the sticker on the inside. On the other hand being single has it's ups and downs but one must learn to allow patience to grow.A openmind has it's benifits. Do you have a problem seeing the trees because the forest is in the way? Stay cool it will happen but it maynot be in the time you want it to happen RR

Would you really want a woman that is so shallow as to judge you by what you ride? The diehard Harley owners need to do some research and find out just where the bits and pieces that make up their bikes are actually made. Surprise, surprise, surprise. Having $25,000 wrapped up in a bike, extra chrome and accessories doesn't make you a "biker". What's that saying? "bikers are a rare breed, Harley owners are a dime a dozen." Funny how only the old guard know the true history of the motorcycle in this country. Who out there knows the beginning of the Sportster, or what made it different from the other Harleys? I'm sure JustMaryinPA does. I spent a week in Sturgis riding with half a dozen men, not one of them was embarrassed to be seen on their bikes, and only one rode a Harley. So maybe you should be as particular about who you date as you are about the bike you ride.

W2S, I can see we're not going to agree on bikes. I am quite proud of my VTX. It's kind of like dating an exotic Asian girl. I am darn proud to be seen on her. You find HD's everywhere you go, and I kind of like having something that not everyone's got. I reallly believe that any bike is the right bike, just so long as you're proud of it. I can afford a Harley if that's what I wanted. I prefer the Honda VTX. It's a choice thing.

Your honda or yamaha maybe faster than an HD but it still isn't an American Bike...and it may make you happy but that doesn't make it cool...sort of like having relations with a big woman, might be fun but do you really want your buddies knowin you are ridin it!

I think I misunderstood...not prejudice against Harleys, a prejudice for Harleys. I am with Spunky, I had a Victory and ohhh it was sooooo nice. It will happen for you. Like most things in life we just don't know when, who, how. Be safe, T

Dating is not easy, regardless of where you live. The Doves are out there if you have the patience to look for them and learning to relax and be yourself will make them more visible. Distance and age are part of the equation for me but I know that special Dove is out there and I will find her.

Had to answer Way2Spunky on the Harley issue. I have been riding for around 30 years now, and I have owned bikes that I can't even remember who made them. I have had 2 Harley's, 2 Yamaha's, 1 Kawasaki, 1 Bridgestone or something like that, 1 Peugot, and 5 Honda's. Of all the bikes I've owned, the Honda's have been the most comfortable and the most dependable. I average about 15,000 miles a year on a bike, and I really love a good long drive. I almost bought another Harley last year, but when the dealer told me that he didn't have anything that could out perform my VTX1800, I decided to stay with it. I also looked at a Victory, and was told that it would out perform every bike on the road. I then told him I had a VTX1800, and he said every bike but that. I guess when the local dealers tell you that your bike is the best on the road and that theirs can't match it, you keep what you got. I have no problem with any bike. You ride what makes you happy and gives you pride. In my case, give me my VTX.

Yup...dating is tough and yes you see so many more good looking women who live in N. J. or California because there are so many more in those places...The shirt, personal option, if it makes you happy do it. MOSTLY I wanted to address the comment about HDs. Yup there is a huge preference for HDs or Victorys. Here is WHY! Your bike is a japanese bike that LOOKs like an HD. Maybe alot like an HD, but a cubic zerconia LOOKs like a diamond the thing that seperates them is the view people have of them, not thier intrinsic value. It is a fact. May I suggest that there are three good reasons to own a real Harley or a Victory. I actually only want to annunciate two now, and they are one they hold thier value better than a "copy" bike and two they are just plain "Cool". I am not trying to put you or your bike down and I hope you take this in the kindest of possible light, as that is how I meant it. I have learned to enjoy the blogs too, and finally one last piece of advice, DONT LOOK FOR THE ONE!!! Look for a friend, maybe two or three and the connection will grow with a good one soon enough. Personally I have given up all hope in this area and now feel much better...LOL. Best of luck, be kind to yourself, if not, who will?

I am glad California has so many beautiful women, I just wish there were more of them living near me. The prejucide towards harleys is a good thing, unfortunately more of them make bad passengers, than good. If women like cheats, then I now know the reason for my horrible luck with women. If any man ever figures out exactly what women want, I hope he writes a book...I'll take 10. Lastly too old is someone els's issue, but I have noticed that I am in the younger age group on this site

Taking offensive to #3, can ya please add NY to that list of states?? LOL If finding someone and dating was easy we wouldnt all be here..but never settle (thats prob the #1 reason im still single) but I know what I want, and wont be content till I find it, if I never do then Oh well, I had a hell of a ride looking for it. People put to much pressure on themselves to find someone..honestly if Im single the rest of my ife that would be OK, cuz I have a great family, great friends, and a great time just living life. Relax..dont push it, and dont let life pass you by becuz your so focused on finding the one. :)

1. Skip the Carolinas. 2. No -- not impossible. Depends on how much you and the other person want to meet and keep the flame burning. 3. Nah... Illinois has great looking gals!!! 4. Nah... You loook great w/o a shirt! 5. ?????? 6. I'm not "everybody" 7. Fun is right!!! 8. Just to be loved, accepted and found to be worth the effort.. just like you and the other guys on here! 9. Think about "maturity". That's the key to deciding on "age". Men see older women as "old" instead of seeing the grace and maturity they possess. I don't see "age" .. I see experience, creativeness, calmness, appreciation of life. Listen to reason. 10. Probably afraid the men will not be accepting of them. Seems most of the guys on here (even the older ones) want eye candy which makes no sense to me when the men don't seem to give a hoot about their body image. There's lots of wonderful traits in everyone. Don't let "maturity" turn you off to something that is real and lasting.
