Quoting
oldharleylover:
have you heard of climate control?
"scientists" just can't leave well enough alone,
I imagine these "tinkerings" will haunt us all for long!
Quoting: Originally posted by Junie2006 Had a few flakes over here. But to be honest hard winter and snow does not really come until after Christmas. Something about changing the calendar forward by a few dozen weeks centuries ago. We are getting a lot of flooding. Terrible in Cumbria, while bridges collapsed and villages cut off. Policeman washed away.
I suspend my judgement, but the Earth has been changing itself and its weather since time immemorial. Had hot and cold running lava and ice flows at one time. Said Everest and Tibet may lose its cold snow top. Do you know what that means? These regions may be better for sustained agriculture for local populace. Can till climb it, just not slide all the way back down on your bottom. |
