Although I havent made any long trips yet this year, I have been having a blast on day rides. This past Saturday I rode with a group to near Waskom Texas to visit the TC Lindsey General Store. It is a general store that has been in continuous operation since 1847. We then rode to Jefferson, Texas for a burger. I rode 300 miles that day. On the 4th we rode just under 300 miles to near Hot Springs Arkansas. Awesome ride through the Ouachita Mountains. The week prior to that we rode a supper ride of about 200 miles. The last 5 weeks I have ridden just under 500 miles each week. I dont think it gets any better than this. :o)

That sounds like me, I just like to ride and get away and enjoy seeing new places and things along the way. Anywhere and any direction is good and I always hope to meet other riders to visit with. I think it only gets better if we can go more often and see some different towns, places, and faces.

Good Rides ;)
"Summer calls to me
Come ride your motorcycle
Live without your cage"
We ride because, we want to Live life not watch it roll by...
transportation is a 2nd-dary function, cars tell us lies like we r safe n powerful n in control, bikes tell us more useful knowledge "we" r exposed, we are able to enjoy every min. the smells the sites, the lil' echoes that roll thru our brain at ev-sec. of the day.... enjoy it!... n ride safe ;)
