well if we had been riding all day a shower first,wash my hair, so the breeze would take away some of the heat of the nite setting around talking to old friends with a bowl of icecream sounds good or maybe a pork rib so we could all just chew the fat...... It has been so suffocatingly hot here the past few days. Ice cream with friends sounds wonderful. Home made ice cream. I make a great cherry almond, or a superb southern peach. Reminds me of family, growing up in the South - sitting on a towel over a stack of newspapers on an old crank style freezer while my Grandpaw cranked till it wouldn't turn anymore. We would sit in the yard, talking and laughing, telling stories till way after dark while the lightning bugs and sound of the crickets took over. Thanks for that nice memory.
