Any favorite blogs of 2007?? (Or events on bk, lol) I loved DD's cafe, K6 got us all going on the BK dysfunctional family enterprises, Sunset's Bar and Grill, Jello Wrestling Blog, and all the terrorist activities between the Doves and Eagleroosters. Can't forget the Spanking Booth Blog..... Any of your favorites????
MY OBSESSIONS Posted on Sat, Dec 29, 2007 00:00
Ok, I got over the Elvis watch. I am no more nor any less a fan of Elvis than the average person. BUT...I HAD TO FIND THE PERFECT ELVIS WATCH. I know not why. The need eventually passed when I could not make up my mind which one I wanted. The Jailhouse Rock Watch or the "Classic" Elvis. Just as well as I would never have worn them anyway. I segued into cowboy boots...several pairs actually. This emcompassed other boots as well. Riding, fashion, et al. I was on a boot binge. I can now start my own boot store. Now....it is a coffee maker. I don't even drink coffee. But my roommate got out his coffee maker and the pot does not fit it and now I am on a quest to find THE COFFEE MAKER. It's a toss up between the Kitchen Aide and the Cuisinart Grind and Brew. Ahhh, the good old days when all I cared about was jewelry, make up, sex and clothes. Wait, wrong order, clothes and sex. Thank you for listening to my obsession confession. I really should not be left to my own devices. Or vices.
Where's Cali??? Posted on Fri, Dec 28, 2007 00:00

RUMOR BLOG Posted on Wed, Aug 08, 2007 00:00
All rumors start here. Yes, I am hopelessly in unrequited love with a man here on BK. As much as I would like to say it were Maneater or SC it isn't, they simply are not manly enough for me. But I will still hold hands with you SC :) I heard DD was pregnant, expecting twins, now who would have gotten him in the family way????? Not a rumor...Moonpie is back.
OK, WHAT'S GOING ON?????????? Posted on Fri, Dec 28, 2007 00:00
I click on the blogs and it is like a "best of BK blogs". All these old ones keep popping up. Like the whole page. Of course, we all had a ball then and they were funnier than hell but ....what's up? Am I hallucinating again???? Don't answer that!!!

I just wanted to say I love the winter pics that people are putting on their profiles. Prismatic, CG, DD and everyone who put up winter/Christmas pics make it more Christmasy for me. The white Christmas. The snow is beautiful. Thanks for sharing them, they are beautiful.
~RECIPE BLOG~ Posted on Thu, Dec 13, 2007 00:00
There seem to be so many great cooks on here, men and women (Heretic, Cruisin, to name two) I thought it would be nice for people to share some favorite recipes. Someone just gave me this one, I have not made it yet but she swears it is very good. Fantasia Spicy Pecans: 2 egg whites, slightly beaten 2 tsps water 2 16 oz bags of shelled pecans 1 1/2 tsps salt 1/2 cup sugar 1tbsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp each of nutmeg, ginger, allspice. Heat oven to 300. Combine egg whites and water. Add nuts and toss to coat. Combine next 6 ingredients then add to nuts and toss till coated. Place in single layer on lightly grease baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes. And there you have spicy pecans as a side snack for holidays. :)

Well, sorta. Hi kids!!!! How are my hooligans????????? I stopped by because I heard some mean girl was picking on Paddy. Nay, nay I say. That is a big "OH NO YOU DON'T!" A verbal spanking for her!! I miss you all and hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. I am just running amok...getting nowhere in particular. DD and I had a fun weekend a few weeks back. It was great to meet his family. His daughters are lovely! We just laughed the whole time! Thanks DD, it was a terrific time. Anyway, hello to all and consider yourselves all smothered in kisses. Ewwww, I know. No tongues!! Wait, where's Demo and RK??? I'll give them each a tongue lashing :)
AN INNOCENT MAN Posted on Sat, Dec 08, 2007 00:00
I recommend this book. It was written by John Grisham and is the true account of 4 men wrongly accused for two different murders and one put on death row. It shows the abuse of legal power and the way the system can and does overcome that abuse. Mostly it is the focus of a man with mental illness and how the trial and incarceration took the toll on his mental and phyiscal health. This man was his own worst enemy, as people with severe mental illness can be. But the police and prosecutor were reprehensible. It tells of the incredible support and love from his sisters. And of course the families of the victims. What these trials, unnecessary trials did to them. It is a very eye opening account.
TO ALL OF BK Posted on Sat, Dec 08, 2007 00:00
I think the spirit of the season should bring us all back to peace and tolerance. So, with that said, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE HERE!!! To those who like me and respect me and to those who don't. To those I care for and respect and to those I don't. Since each of us is extremely fallible maybe we should look at our own behavior before accusing others. Many on here are dealing with great pain, fear, loss, separations. It would be such a nice gift to let those people come here and get renewed, comfort, to escape. Can we keep it hopeful and kind and peaceful? Possibly a little fun? I believe we all can. I wish for everyone here to find solace and peace in this season. Treasure

FAVORITE CHRISTMAS CAROL Posted on Tue, Dec 04, 2007 00:00
Do you have a favorite? Some you like or might mean more than others? Or are you a lover of all holiday music? Mine are O Holy Night and Silent Night. Especially the second verse of Silent Night. I think the words of these songs are soulful and heartening and hopeful. They also keep me centered on what is most important to me about Christmas. Anyone want to share???
SANTA CLAUS Posted on Fri, Nov 30, 2007 00:00
Did you believe in Santa as a child?? If so, do you recall when and/or how you found out there is no Santa? I loved Santa from afar but one year he came to my house. I must have been about 6 and he (I later found it is was a she!!) scared me to death!! I ran and locked myself in the bedroom. I was terrified, the reality of Santa being at my house calling for me, plus the big, loud voice. I was such a wussy kid. Anyway, my dad got me out of the bedroom and got me on Santa's lap. I was rigid with fear but I kept wondering why Santa looked like Polly's (my sister's friend) mother. So I was terrified and confused. Was Santa a lady???? Oh my poor 6 year old psyche!! After that I guess I always suspected every Santa was really not THE SANTA. I don't recall anyone telling me there was no Santa. They probably knew I couldn't handle another Santa trauma. So what is your Santa story??
DOMINATOR? Posted on Tue, Nov 27, 2007 00:00
Ok, I have a friend (really, I do) and he is into the Dom/Sub thing. He being the Dom. He has started going to a private club where they all...enjoy the same proclivities. Dang if he won't give me details!!! He says, "no T, it isn't for you, trust me" Hmmmpf, friend or no friend, when a man says 'trust me' I tend to be suspicious. Ok, in this case I do believe him. I am too rebelious and whiney. Anyway, with a show of hands..or posts :), anyone else out there living the Dom/Sub life? You don't have to give your real name so don't be shy!!
RINGTONES Posted on Wed, Oct 03, 2007 00:00
Not being a major fan of progression it took me awhile to embrace ringtones. I just wanted my cell phones to ring like normal phones. But mine don't offer that option so I took the least intrusive. THEN...I was sent Daffy Duck getting a bj...no I didn't use it but it did loosen me up a bit. So, I used Mississippi Queen for my ringtone for awhile. Now I have changed to the Loony Tunes Operatic attempt with Elmer Fudd singing "Kill da Wabbit, kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit! and Bugs piping in...Kill the Rabbit??' Sooooo what is your ringtone????
