Favorite road trip.

I know I normally post the bikerisms, but I thought I'd post something else as well. Why not share what your favorite road trip was. It can be a road trip you took by yourself or with others.

My favorite was when I took two weeks off at the end of July in 2008 and rode Route 66 from IL to CA. It was refreshing to go thru those little towns and talk with people as I was on my journey. The sites were unreal, especially further west. I took a little side trip when I made it to CA and went to visit some friends up by Yosemite National Park. If you ever make to that area, there is a long tunnel that goes thru the mountain side. Be sure to rev it up when going thru. I took this trip by myself and had a blast.

What's everyone else's?

I know I normally post my usual bikerisms in here, but I have something on my mind that I have to get out by typing an off-the-wall blog.
This is my own opinion, but I think love really sucks!! It does for me anyway. I think it's great when my friends find someone that makes them happy, but I've found it's not for me. Oh well. Shit happens I guess. I don't mean to make this sound like a "poor me" thing.
Like I said this is my opinion. I guess I just needed to get that thought out of my head before blood started oozing out of my eye sockets and ears. Also, I suppose I'm just curious if anyone else feels the same way? Oh well. Have a lovely day and bring on Spring!!!

I found this book that I had bought a while ago titled,"Sit Down, Shut Up & Hang on! A Biker's Guide to Life". It has some cool, and sometimes funny, things to say. I thought I'd share them with the rest of ya. If you guys/gals like them, I'll post a new ism weekly. Here's a few to get things started.

"Midnight bugs taste best."

"Saddlebags can never hold everything you want, but they can hold everything you need."

"Wear heavy boots. You can't kick things when you're wearing sneakers."

Enjoy. :-)

After some thought, with the help of all the great people on here, you know who you are, I've decided to come out of hiding. All of you have helped with your kind words to get me on the road to feeling good about myself. Once again, I give a heartfelt thanks to all of you. Bikerkiss has introduced me to a great group of people that I wouldn't want to part with. Perhaps, one of these days, our paths will cross. Be safe out there and see you out on the road.

I'm not sure how many people will read this, but having a broken heart is one of the worst things a person can feel. Most of you who know me, know and understand what I am going through at this stage of my life. I'm not typing this to be the center of attention. Those who know me, know that is not my nature. I need to type this in hopes I can try to move on with what I have going on in my life. I just ask if you have someone, boyfriend or girlfriend, that you deeply care about, don't take it for granted. Hold onto it with all that you have. You are blessed that you can experience what you have. That is all I can think of to type at this time. I'm sure I'll add on later.
