Wow, I guess I just don't get what the controversy is about this blog? It's a JOKE, for Pete's sake, ...like many, many all of us have seen whether it's the male or female version. I was not at all offended to find out that I: Slept with all your friends, am Ugly, Do a lot of pills, am on medication, am a Junkie, am a Former slut,Annoying,Dull,Desperate, Loud and Embarrassing, a Sloppy drunk,a Bitch, Frigid and a Stalker... at least I am multi-faceted! ;>)

Quoting teebis: "GEEBIS"!!!! says Teebis.....I am far too simple to be controversial...lol A lover...not a fighter...a defender....not an offender.......And while this lil joke may portray women as a bit disingenuous or maybe flakey ....I actually thought it was funnier that men are portrayed as the knuckle dragging neanderthals...um...er....that .um.....we are! Many thanks to my supporters.....or at least those who know me better. If the time has come when we can't laugh at ourselves..or we feel threatened or offended by a simple joke...(albeit funny or not...in poor taste or not.. as viewed by the reader)..then we must be taking life far more seriously than god wants us to. And so........maybe we should all fold up our tents along with our senses of humour......and seriously and critically analyze every single word that anyone says on here..........Sound good?????????? After all......there must be a moral authority in biker blog land as well....shouldn't there??? That being(perhaps too sarcastically) said.....I always am mindful and respectful of anyone's opinion...as long as it is stated in reasonable terms. As momma always said, "For all that book larnin that boy ain't got a lick of sense". Maybe she's right.....lol

Did someone say lick?? lol

I agree with Cali, Teebis would never post anything intentionally to hurt someone..I personnaly thought it was funny,I have seen the male version of this and it wasnt as funny but if I posted the male version I dont think anyone of the males here would have been offended about it. Sometimes you just got to laugh and not think it was directed at you or about you..sorry just saying how I feel

Quoting: Originally posted by NightNurse Let me clarify. I did not say Teebis is the offender. I have no qualms with him. I feel the MvsF Dictionary and much of the content is off color and harsh, and whoever thought it up is offensive towards women.
Either did I,but I know he never meant to post this intentionally thinking a few of you would be offended by it.
DIFFERENT THINGS OFFEND DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT WAYS. SAME AS DIFFERENT THINGS ARE HUMEROUS TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN DIFFERENT WAYS. SUCH IS LIFE. THE WIDOW/MURDERER HIT ME HARD.I LOST A HUSBAND AND A FIANCE'(ALMOST MY HUSBAND)TO UNTIMELY UNFAIR DEATHS VIA CARDIAC ARREST AND A BRAIN TUMOR. NOT TO MURDERING THEM BY MY OWN HANDS. THESE MEN VS WOMEN THINGS USUALLY HAVE NO AFFECT UPON ME EITHER WAY. YET,I STAND FIRM IN MY CONVICTIONS THAT THIS ONE IS WAY TOO WAY CRITICAL AND DEGRADING OF WOMEN,AND FOR THE MOST PART,IT'S NOT FUNNY AT ALL. IF ANYONE HAS A PROBLEM WITH MY FEELINGS ABOUT THAT,IT MATTERS NOT TO ME. FCK TODAY,IT'S TOMORROW.
I am understand what you're saying Deb and I am sorry for your loss. I am sorry for anyone that lost anyone,my comment was not directed to you personally, I was only trying to say,I am sure Teebis didn't realize this might be really offensive to some of you, that's all. You know I luv ya whether you like it or not ;)

yeah. I know. I love you,too Cali. Always.

Personal issues Havfun?.....well, I AM a widow...lost my husband of 34 years 4 years ago...I didn't kill him. But whether some one is having "issues" or not.....it is still the same old stereotypical way that most men think of women.

sigh, my very best friend has been in icu for 2 weeks, there was a joke on local radio about icu and death this morning, we all have pain, we all have personal issues, and I am very very sorry for your loss,

Quoting TeachOnWheels: Thank you Deb, nice to see the other side even if it has to be from one of us. Guess that tells us something and you men can draw your own conclusions.

Well,it is insulting, more severly so than any of the other one's I've seen on here. In agreement with redsunset, the widow/murderer affected me badly. I feel that whom ever wrote the thing, must surely hate Women, that's for sure.

Advice from Women to Men The reason why our bras don't always match our underwear is because WE actually change our underwear. The next time you and your buddies joke about armed women in combat, take a poll to see which of you successfully aim at the toilet rim. If we're watching football with you...it's not bonding...it's their butts. Whenever possible, please try to say whatever you have to say after the movie. Lay off the beans several hours before bedtime. Please don't drive when you're not driving. The next time you joke about female drivers, research the number of accidents caused by rubber-necking mini-skirts. If you were really looking for an honest answer, you wouldn't ask in bed. If only women gossip, how do you and your friends keep track of "who's easy"? Stop telling us most male strippers are gay: we don't care. When you're not around, I belch loudly, too. We don't mind if you look in the mirror to check your appearance...in fact...please do! When you're out with us, please wear "our" favorite outfit rather than "yours"...the torn jeans and dirty T-Shirt will last longer that way. If you must grunt in reply, please develop a system to indicate a positive vs a negative grunt. Don't insist that we "get off the stupid phone" and then not talk to us. Eye contact is best established above our shoulder-level. Cleaning the house is not necessarily "women's work"; besides, most of the "dirt" and clutter is yours anyway. Yes, we know most of the great chefs are men, why is it then you never want to cook? We go to the Ladies Room in groups to talk about you. Yes, we know you can probably beat us arm wrestling; however, very few raises or promotions were gained by arm wrestling the boss.

Quoting TeachOnWheels: Sorry Teebis, this didn't come off funny. More likely title would have been men attacking women.

in my reply i was not suggesting YOU have personal issues. I only meant a joke by its nature puts down someone, somewhere, but you know, we all need to laugh at ourselves ride safe, my friend

Quoting TeachOnWheels: Sorry Havfun, it didn't offend me because I'm having "personal issues", it offended me because bashing the other sex is something I try not to get involved with. I don't like to bash my ex either. And yes, had both sex's been attacked it might have been funnier, but I know plenty of good men that just wouldn't have gone down that road because they appreciate the differences in both groups. Someone can't talk out of both sides of their mouth without expecting a reaction.

both sexes were attacked, if not in proportion (and who could judge) and if this is bashing/attacking? you will find much the same in the venus/mars series of books, which helped me understand the psyche of men and women much better..I dont know what the "talking out both sides" comment refers to..hope you enjoy your new bike, can i ride b.i.t.c.h? (that way my hands are free...ride safe

Teach WTF...who the hell made you queen of the blogs? What I would like to now is why do people like you always have to comment on blogs that were posted to show a little humor, and just because you didn't like it - you have to turn it into something so negative? I look at this way - if you don't like what you've read then move to one that you can handle. This is a biker website not Sunday Mass!
