I myself 'am NOT' a prude either, but I have seen this done even at our local bike nights.(and 'yes' I was also asked to 'show the girls' and said NOT!!!!) Not often mind you, but I've seen it done and there are kids in attendance at times because its held at a bar N grill, food is served. I too tend to think its the libations/booze and the excitement of 'getting or not getting caught'. AND they are egged on to 'do it' for the beads and/or whatever. I was not happy considering the kids were there walking around too but ya know, if they feel the need to do it, then that's their fanny's that'll get busted IF they get caught. And we do at times have the motorcycle cops in attendance if there is an event in the near future. They'll somtimes also 'show their stuff' on the H. D.'s they ride. THAT'S AN AWESOME SIGHT.....I've seen their demo's on base as well.... OH well, I'll show mine when the time is proper and not before...don't mind the cleavage, but not the whole package like that. Takes away the whole thing of ....hhhmmmmm wonder whats under there.....LOL's LOL's Just me and my way...... OH WELL.......

Re: What? You think I am lying? A healthy strapping male to show off the goods to? Of course you bring it out in them. Prompted by what Sun and Teach said too. If you were in the supermarket parking lot it would most likely not happen. But look at where you were. It is the environmental hedonistic atmosphere, combined with the safety and the booze. But you won't catch me doint it. As Teach says, who want to see an almost 50 year old broad flashing? Besides, that torture is for the one I love, in private. I love goats and chickens. Don't forget the ducks too. teebis write: Oh my sarcastic but very beautiful T......now give me a real "whatchathink" You are always sincere and real on here....Am I not right in my observation?

Teebis, thanks for your honesty. I guess that's why they do it, just because they can. No other answer.

I will add that I wasn't one of the women who showed their body(who wants to see a 55 year old woman's body), but I did change my top right out in daylight in the campsite and wasn't uncomfortable at all. I breastfed my sons in public too, but I think that's another blog topic. lol

It definitely didn't concern me! I loved the parade!!!!....and I looked.....cuz I am a guy...and they were there. In answer to your last question........if it was my daughter up there.....yes,then I'd be concerned!!!! A double standard?????????? For sure!

Good question Teebis. I think there are many possible answers...some in combination with each other. Could be alcohol loosening inhibitions, could be "herbs", could be as Teach so expertly explained being away from home and hearth and sowing some very wild oats. I also think that it is a symbol of our societal values of today....lack of self respect, lack of morality and lack of conscience regarding right and wrong..... I don't know that there are any easy answers....it might be different for each one of those women. I do think it is a shame that some feel they have to be so.....obvious ...to get the attention they need and think they deserve.

Can I add one more thought? If this concerned you so much, why were you interested in seeing it? I am not judging you nor even criticizing, but curious. Would you want to see someone you knew on those poles? Again, Teebis, I am not judging you, I was looking too(unfortunately no men though)because I was curious.

Teebis, great blog and questions. I too wonder how women, who normally are your average person can go insanely crazy at an event that is really not a safe environment to do so. Not all, but many were younger women and therefore were probably more confident in their bodies. I do think that women may be so restricted by society that they use this as an excuse to let loose when away from home. It was also restricted to only those who paid so maybe they felt it was limited, NOT. Some of the guys taking pictures were actually asking the girls to do things to enhance the pics and that made me uncomfortable. I love to party with the best, but I don't get it either.
