Making Lemonade .

Me and a high school bud and friend of 40 yrs. were planning to ride the Lake Huron side of Michigan, but alas it was covered in rain, soooo..........We got on rt. 1 in Illinois , headed south till it dead-ended at the Ohio River at Cave in Rock, Il. , they had a free ferry to get to Kentucky on the other side so us and 30 other bikers made the crossing....Me and my bud traveled through some National forests that reminded me of parts of the " Dragon Tail Ride " in Tn. and vered south and east till we were surprised to find ourselves in Tenneessee , good place for wings and beers.......We hit good old rt. 41 in Tn. and followed it north back into Ky. and then Indiana......Toured a winery, bought a case, strapped it on the bike, watched the Bears game south of Terre Haute and did our 3'rd overnight there.Met a lot of cool people, over-tipped and flirted with a lot of bartendresses , and did 1000 miles in 4 days..... 14,000 miles in the year , so far...Speedking1
