In her eyes he was a God & her Knight
She was an angel loving him sweetly
And he could do no wrong in her sight
So where did it all go so wrong
How does a good love turn out bad?
What they had they thought was strong

Her touch use to weaken him to his knees
His kiss had always melted her very soul
Now their love was like the raging seas
How did it get so out of control?
He fell for her tenderness and her beauty
She couldn't escape his strong loving hold
But now their love becomes such a duty
And the warmness has grown so cold.
Such a sad thing to see a good love die
Because of selfishness and a little pride
Why is it that when it comes down to good-bye
We realize how much harder we should have tried?
