Ok...this is for the guys...hope they will respond honestly. Teach's blog got me to thinking...always dangerous..lol! There are some absolutely wonderful, lovely, intelligent ,mature ladies who are on this site quite frequently...... sometimes they make us laugh, cry and think.....we are all different sizes, shapes and ages.... but one of the things that ties many of us together is that we do not have a partner. So guys...what is it...our age? Our size? Our shapes? Are we intimidating? What makes you steer clear of us...the dreaded Mature Ladies .....inquiring minds want to know. Well Ladies....guess the guys have decided to keep us in the dark.....any theories ladies?

Junie, What a wonderful story and your words of wisdom always shine through. Certain things are ageless...grace, manners, compassion, humor , laughter, and spirit....those things are also very attractive. Stormsail and Roadglide.....some lady will be very lucky to receive your attentions.....you both expressed yourselves beautifully.....Roadglide what a wonderful picture you painted of "mature" women!!

I have been attracted to all types, all sizes and all ages. Its just something about the person. Didn't go there but spoke to and had delightful conversation with a foreign gentlman on a train. He was in his 70s but he was so lively and humourus and had a lithe grace and beauty about him. He had complete male charm at his age and his hands and fingers where so exquisite and expressive I did quietly imagine and indulged what other things they may be good for. I have no boundaries but I do have things I am attracted to and those I am not. And the things I like are those things which are ageless and have always been attractive. I do think in our rough and coarse and vulgar world intelligence and grace and charm shine out even more. Some people are ageless. Junie

Just got back on after a few days away. I have to agree with an earlier answer....location. Women age a lot better than most men and fun is where you find it. Sure size does matter (that's what the women tell me), but it's not everything. It's always been about how you move. Tanke care redsunset!

Tornado time in Williamston, so I won't be on much longer. I'm thinking you getting in my head could be really ugly. You might actually find there isn't anything there. lol

As long as they can keep up with me and don't need their diapers changed, I'm game. All parts must work, including their brain and funny bone.(you didn't think that was where I was going did you? lol)

Ok...Ladies turn about is fair play.......how much older than you would you date....does age really matter...or is it the personality and the person himself?

Gentlemen I must say I am impressed...your answers have been thoughtful and thought-provoking....and we have heard from some new people.....this is great. CSI...you did just fine....and I think you are right....I think sometimes we all sit here waiting for the other to make a move...and so nothing happens. I always find your answers well thought out, full of wonderful insights and kind. Longbear....again you have answered a woman with great sensitivity and some wonderful words. Texasbill.....us mature ladies thank you.

Hey dc...nice answer....you didn't generalize and you gave lots of great examples....I agree with you about maturity too...I have met some younger people who seem to have wisdom and maturity way beyond their years and some people my age...who are Peter Pan and will never grow up. I think as far as vanity is concerned...we have it rammed into our minds 24/7 throught the media....print, electronic and tv....it is a fact we deal with in our culture everyday. Dating sites...the 21st century....peope are busy with jobs, families, obligations...time is a factor I think...not the best way to find a potential mate....but we have made some great pals and some lasting friendships...and there are some successes. Thanks dc.

well speaking for myself... and you asked for our opinions...it may be a bit general :) When I was single and available, (I love you Moto;-) what attracted me to women no matter how old, was their personality... Age, or "maturity" means absolutely nothing..and rock hard abs are overrated... I have dated much older than me and it was like dating an insecure teenager...I've dated younger and found the most "mature" woman I have ever dated. sometimes women with a ton of energy can be a turnoff as well..dating someone with a full itinerary of activities with little time for a relationship can send someone for the hills in a heartbeat...been there too... I personally find that most women are too vain and are stuck on the myth that all guys want is a barbie doll, it's just not true..there are those that do want that, but most just want someone that is well rounded (no pun) bottom line is that there is someone out there for everyone, sometimes it's the means by which you choose to try and meet these people, IMHO internet dating can work, but there's a lot of sifting needed to find that diamond... then throw in the multitude of different sites out there... makes the odds even worse.. if I wasn't so tired I could go on and on for a few more pages... lol

Nah, speak your mind, thats what we are here for.. I just am surrounded by some real miserable single people at work sometimes.. When they all cluster up like hens in a circle(my nickname for them when they bicker) it seems like they simply point fingers more than they look inside the box.. Women here on biker are actually very open, some are so unique in their own, and i tremendously enjoy reading their comments.. But i think biker kiss has a lot of people, and people get too lost in the crowd.. The blogs are fun, and a great way to see ones personality, but how many people actually participate?..its not many by far, so if "the one" isnt reading about how great some of the women are, most just become a face in the profiles others flip by..

Motor, I'm not disagreeing with you....but that description can apply to younger women, younger men, older men...as well as mature women....we don't have the corner on the emotional fraility market. And I think if you look at the women who have responded to this blog...there is nothing fragile or unconfident about any other them. We all need to be careful about generalizing about any subject.....not a slam at you Motor truly!

I dont know if its the quote on quote "mature woman" some guys back off of, i think its the baggage.. The "poor me, poor me" emotionally fragile woman..The unconfident woman that has imprisoned herself from ever seeing beyond the bars that hold her back without any possibility of parole from the "cruel evil world" they think they are victims of.. There are a gazillion people out there, yet it takes a few bad experiences to destroy the possibility anything in the future can survive ones past..

texasbill loves older women !!!!!I loved "em even when i was a lot younger than I am now. A mature woman brings knowledge and grace inexperience to the game of relationships that the young ones just do not know.. yea, for mature women..please respond back, ladies....
