RK.....great....now you think we are killing them off!!! It's difficult enough out here.....lol! Statistically, women live 10 years longer, so there are more of us than them. Teach...you are soooo right...and you know what, we should not have to settle.....I have decided not too...no more insensitive jerks who appear wonderful until a relationship starts, no more players....if I am alone...I guess I am alone. Crusin...thanks g/f.....I am getting stronger everyday.....he was "all that" to me...and my best friend, so I thought....but life goes on.......who knows what the future holds for any of us. So ladies...do we settle or hold out for what we truly deserve?

Hey if you ladies in your prime would stop killing off the guys you would have one to play with. Remember if your on top and they stop breathing then stop riding them. American red cross has a series of classes that can help.

Funny thing - I look at most of you women on here who have been turned down because of your looks and think "what the hell, if they don't have a chance then what am I going to do?" As I've said before, men don't want women over 50 and they don't take time to get past the looks and see what's inside. I've found I'm settling once again with someone who doesn't give me what I want (passion, communication, friendship)just so I have someone to ride with. I'm not dead, but in this male dominated world, I might as well be.

Welcome back , Sass!!! Glad to see you coming back around. And he called you a plain brown wrapper? HA! He IS OK, but no stud muffin himself. Maybe he needs to go around the block a bit more, get stung some, to find out what he just lost.

Ok...posing a new question here....what about a person's age......how many years older would you go if you were attracted to a person's outside and inside? Think before you answer and look at what you put in your profile.....seems we all...men and women are looking for younger..... And when you are 60, like me......it gets pretty difficult out here in the cold, cruel world.....even if I don't look, act or feel like 60.....is age truly just a number?

I appreciate all the wonderful comments and feedback from everyone...but this is not a bad guy......sometimes guys have difficulty expressing themselves....maybe was meant as a compliment.......the treasure was on the inside...remember? He was/is a good guy....we all have our perceptions of beauty and handsomeness(is that a word..lol)....... what attracted me to him was his sense of humor, intelligence, wit and kind caring manner with people......wasn't the outside package...... I'm a sucker for a man with a sense of humor...and if he is tall...look out......lol!

in all seriousness.....the outer package is the first hook(you need not feel you have to take a backseat to anyone there hun)............but it wears thin soon enuff if there is no substance behind the "look"..I am sure we have all met someone that we REALLY REALLY would like to like....but then they open their mouths and all is lost ...things head south iffin ya know what I'm saying.... lol

Re:Yes, Teebis....still living...lol! Hey everyone has a different perception of the person they are attracted to. I started this blog to ask what attracts you to others....the inner or the outer beauty. What attracts you? teebis write: Wow,,,the guy had the balls to say that to you???????? Is he still living????????lol

It takes a Mature Intelligent Man to take on a Mature Intelligent Woman. Hence the problem. Not many want to step up to the plate and learn to become a Man again as in olden times when a a bimbo would not be considered as men could not afford to marry idiots. Junie

Re:Ah Junie.......your comment got buried!!! You always have some wonderful words of wisdom...Junie's Pearls! I have always been attracted to the person on the inside too....I look for that wit and sense of humor, honesty and compassion in people. True...it doesn't hurt if they are physically attractive to me...I have always been attracted to tall men....maybe because I am short....who knows......but it is the inner person....especially getting to know someone over the internet first....has to be something to attract me other than physically. And BTW....how did you know that Susan Hayward is one of my favorite actresses?? Maybe because we share a first name. Thanks Junie. Junie2006 write: You are certainly no brown paper package or plain Jane and it is an insult for anyone to say so. I think of you in the style of say Greer Garson or Susan Hayward type. A mature attractive woman but not a bimbo. Someone who has CLASS. I have always been attracted to the person never the outside. I do think that if the Men - Mars Women-Venus stuff is true then men are crap. If they only think of sex before the relatiomship or welfare of the person I don't want them. and if they only respond to what they see and never see the bigger person then they are not just crap they are stupid. Nice to get a nice package and everyone can make themselves better makes you feel better too. But I would never want someone who was only skin deep in his perception. I think it is really sad that some of the most wonderful and accomplished women cannot find someone becasue the guy is still looking for the likes of Anna Nicola Smith or similar. Surely the recent saga goes that a man can be a fool if he follows such priorities. Junie

Re:Thanks suburban...it feels pretty good to be back....a little difficult...lots of memories here...oh well, have to face them sometime I guess. The sad part is that we were very close friends first...we built that level of trust and communication...it was like we had known each other forever. ...one of those rare connections that is easy and smooth from the begionning. He is not a bad person.....it was just a very hard blow because I cared so much and having difficulty not having the friendship anymore. It will get better as time goes by. Thanks for the welcome back. suburbansweetheart write: Hey Sassy We missed your humor here.. I hope you didn't seriously let this superficial bastard ruin even one day in your life. Knowing all of your accomplishment's and loving spirit and your beauty you are the pretty package with a wonderful surprise inside. I have met several of these type of guys that are so busy trying to prove they are all that talking more about who wants them than why the deserve a loving relationship. I laugh it off anymore. We are all special in our own way and there are so many wonderful Vimp's here that I call my friends. Glad to see you again sweety...Sher

Re:Jersey.....you got buried too....sheesh. Thanks...think I like the new name...as Red said.....a small select group...Blow Torch Redheads..lol!! I don't know....he was/is a good person....it just wasn't right for him....wish I had known sooner....before a heart got involved....may need a transplant if I'm not careful....lol! JerseyAngel write: Nice name. But what kind of cold, callous person could say that to a human being? I am glad he did that to you because you found out the truth about him. Obviously he was putting up a front. He is very insecure with himself. He does not like himself and wants the "pretty package" to hide behind to make himself look better because he himself is UGLY!!! Woman you are one of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of meeting. You know who you are and that you are a beautiful person on the outside. SCREW THAT ASSHOLE! You did not deserve to have your heart broken. Well, the 3 vimps are together again!
