Howdy people, well just signed up to this site so only had a quick look about, but thought there were real bikers out there in the world still.
I live in the UK and had a birthday in November so rode from the south coast to Glasgow and back just to remind myself I was still living.
Sure there are weekend party rides and festivals in the summer, but how many real bikers are left that go out in any weather at any time of the year, very few these days for sure.
Been riding since 15 myself ,trials bikes, custom and sports and now 45 see that there are few real bikers left that are not posers or losers,so will be interesting blogging some of you to see what chains I can rattle.
Speaking of which Kudos to MC motorcycles in Glasgow for helping me out when I stretched out my chain getting up there if not for them I wouldnt have got back the next day, good job and real bikers.
M74 southbound is a nice run at 7.30 in the morning BTW.
Amazingly no points on licence or RTA`s in 20 years, probably as I am a professional rider and driver with tests in 5 different vehicles other than bikes so have some perspective other than people who only go out in the sun and in summertime or just at weekends to pose.
1274 miles covered and apart from kamikaze bunnies and washed out bridge at Jedburgh which was replaced by armie engineers with a sheet metal tank bridge and rain and cold from start of the A7 no worries.
Love to ride in california down from LA to SF but real bikers live to ride, not live to ride in sunshine alone.
Denim and leather put us all together it was you that set the spirit free,a quote from saxon (the band, lol, shows my age),so wheres the spirit gone I ask.

Another exercise in Masochism:¿ Ride from Salt Lake City to Cheyenne, buy a lotto ticket, turn around and ride back.
It really is UPHILL BOTH WAYS.

Went out with London Despatch rider. Otherwise know as "Nutters." Loves to ride and experience makes him a good rider. However as an ex Fireman he is not an idiot and does not encourage idiots. But he can out ride and out smart cops. But then who can't?

Kept telling him he should get up to Scotland as he was also a climber. The scenery if amazing especially West Scotland.

Congratulations on your birthday. It is mine today. Will have to think of doing something dangerous or challenging
