My bike has started smoking again, so back it went, something in the front head is leaking oil into the chamber, they re built the engine last time, and went through the heads, and for awhile no smoke. but again, there it is, The dealer is beside itself, and is going to press for a fresh set of head assy's which will cure the trouble. This will be the 3rd time its in for this problem, so the Wi. Lemon Law will apply if the fix doesnt work. I would rather not go that route, if possible, hoping th  more...

Big Thanks! This could become complicated as the particular V-Rod I have isnt made anymore, the "R" streetrod. so if the MoCo really wants me happy, a whole new engine will help, but fresh heads will be nice too. The Frt. head is making angry noises, and there is alot of stuff in there, double overhead cams, 4 valves, compression releases, (11.3:1 ) so it may be a porous casting, or maybe a hairline fracture, we'll see, the factory guy is coming to look it over this week so I'll know t  more...

Hard luck, sounds like it could be a porous casting, if they haven't found a crack or bad valve / guide.
At least you guy's have got Lemon Laws, we haven't in Oz. Best of luck mate.
