Re: Oh I agree with that, stuff doesn't make you anything other than hard to pack up. It is definitely who you are and what you do. Lots of assholes are poor and lots are rich. CinnamonGirlOH write: RK, Yeah it works that way up here in the North too with the 1% ers. But I have seen some become bike-less for a hot minute until the situation is rectified. I just don't like it when somebody is judgemental regarding material things and equates that with whether a person is good enough to hang with or go out with. I've dated men with money and men who didn't have a pot to piss in.What they HAD didn't color my perception of who they were.

Re:I wasnn't rebutting your comment that a biker has to have a bike just expanding on the 1% thing. It might be different up north but I am familiar with two clubs down here and their bylaws. I went two months with out a bike, doesn't mean I wasn't a biker, well technicaly I had a bike it just had 11000.00 damage from the asshole who ran me over on Christmas eve. CinnamonGirlOH write: RK, I disrespectfully disagree, when one when has a financial disaster or goes to jail, or whatever, those things can get repossessed, sold, etc. , leaving someone bike-less. Being bike-less among them usually doesn't last 2 long, especially when the bros work together to get a brother back in the wind, but bike-less is bike-less no matter if it's for a day or for years.. My point was.. not to be so quick to judge someone just because they do not have a bike for at present. You can miss out on some really great people by narrow minded thinking like the above post..(No offense meant to the original poster).

Re: Hey Spice girl if they are patch holders they would have a bike. 1% folks usually have to bring one back to the club house as part of their initiation. And if you own a bike as a patch holder the club owns it too. To me a biker is someone who rides in the rain, pulls over for a bro who is dead on the side of the road, rides with a knowledge of bikes and knowes the road rules, tools on their own at least to some extent respects the babes and apprectates the flashes, and so much more. CinnamonGirlOH write: Owning a bike does NOT make you a so-called biker. Just get on any highway on a nice (very nice,no chance of rain,or dropping temperatures)day and behold those scores of "bikers" who can only be alluded to as such because they have a great income and credit score to purchase off the showroom floor or have a custom built. They wear the newest styles of shiny logo bearing leathers, even on a scorching day to show how "biker"they are..LOL Then the bike is sold when the novelty wears off. You can't buy being a "biker" or even liking to ride at your local dealership, you either are or aren't, and you either do or don't. That said, you can't diss someone just because they don't have a bike either. I have known many patch holders and others who for one reason or another have been without a bike at some point. I would not even attempt to tell these folks they are not "bikers". While they may be bike-less at the moment they show their true colors by the way they live their lives and the way they treat folks.

I guess it's kind of like the person that posts and doesn't have a pic of a bike in their profile? Perhaps people don't take them serious?

L.H. go easy on those you label "wanna be",, "Useta be" . This is a site for like interests, not owners only.A wannabe, may decide to learn, and buy a bike. A useta be, may decide to ride again ,because of their experiences here. If someone makes contact, and you dont like them, pass them by. Do you ride your own, or on the back?

Re: kinkymunky write: copperhead....i believe there is also a batbike, and if you don't have one, i'd take you on the back.. ;-) Both Robin, and Batgirl rode bikes. though Robin usually rode in the Batmobile, he did occasionally ride. Batgirl always rode a bike.

lh1958, I can understand your frustration, however, even though BK is a Biker site, I have not seen any rules that say one has to have a scoot in order to be here or to comunicate with people.
