I will be praying each day for his recovery. I use to work in an ICU unit.......I've seen miracles. Unbelievable miracles. And God is in the miracle making business, especially when so many are praying. Will be believing for this one. Hugs to you girl for sharing your pain.

He's not doing good at all. Pneumonia is not to be reckoned with when you're illin. It's bedtime in MI and I know that I am not going to sleep at all. thanks for asking and praying for our Al.

MY HEART HURTS TONIGHT! I'm so, so sad tonite as I called my good friend Al's brother and Al is not doing good. Yes, he was drinking and hit a tree, no helmet. Yes, I do believe in helmets. He is in an induced coma, bleeding on the brain, one of his lungs has collapsed and pneumonia has set in. He's hooked up to all sorts of tubes. It's not looking good for our Al. Why did the bloody hell didn't he wear a helmet? He's always worn a helmet in MI! I wish that he'd never moved to Tampa. Please pray for my bud.

My prayers are with you and your friend Al. Hope he gets well soon, those breathing tubes are kinda hard to deal with if your out and wake up to them natural to fight them. God will take care of him just keep praying. I'll add him to my list.

That sounds a bit positive really, if they are deliberately keeping him under so he won't fight it. I understand being worried. I have a friend who is MIA right now (most likely in hospital) and it drives me crazy when I don't hear from him. His health is quite fragile. I was actually checking obits the other night but his daughter knows to contact me if he should die.

Took me to the Paradise Club Valentine's dance and out to dinner in the Spring. We're good friends. Tried to call his brother who lives up the street from us but no answer. will probably hear something tonight. Thanks for caring.

He was in a coma and they talked about pulling the plug. They were taking him for another cat scan and he woke up from the coma. He is in very critical condition. Thanks, Irish Patti
Let's see: Hmmmm, he crashed 2 days ago, was in a coma and already talking about pulling the plug, eh? Who was talking about it? And, he must have had "donor" on his driver's license. Reminds me of a friend down the street whose cousin, less than a week ago, had a serious fall down some stairs and the doctor(s) took out half his brain. Didn't even give him a chance to see if the brain would/could heal. Tsk on the medical doctors and those who would pull the plug immediately.
