Hey all, I am new here...just checking things out. I've been viewing for a while, and thought I would give it a go! I am not a gold member...still seeing what's up before I jump in with both feet. It seems to be a real hoot around here!
Just found out yesterday that I am gonna be a Grandma. I don't think it has quite sunk in yet, as my daughter is 19 and starting nursing school at university in January...but she is standing by her beliefs and is keeping the baby. I will support her nine-ways-from-sunday, and I can't wait for the first ultrasound exam. Doc says everything is going fine, she just didn't want to tell me until her first trimester was complete. My god, come May, I will be a Grandma...ladies, can you help me out with this one? Were those of you that had grandbabies for the first time as freaked out as I am??? Wow, a Grandma....I can't even wrap my head around it!
Hey, what ever happened to whythehellnot? Has anybody talked to her recently? Last I can recall she was moving...I hope she's ok. I enjoyed her "shoot from the hip" attitude and what you see is what you get.
