Well I am going to have to bow out gracefully I am not allowed to drive until September 30th due to out of state DUI. So I am getting my fingers slapped here in Texas. Selling Barney so in September I can get a new bike. So sorry guys have fun, I will be there next year.

I'm just sitting back and waiting to see what the majority wants to do. I will be in Rapid City the evening of the 3 until about noon on the 6th. Only plans I have are to be at the HD display Saturday morning. After that I want to spend a day in Custer Park and a run at some point to Devils tower. After that willing to meet at any of the for mentioned saloons.

Im good for anything ..Still iffy for me though... I actually thought up the whole pink arm band thingy ..I thought it was cute...lol But your right no one found each other, so there goes that idea...lol Ms H..let me know what you would like to do as I would love to meet up with you and everyone else ...

Re:No color coding, that's just too weird, besides it was tried last year. Look, there will be folks that want to be in the downtown Sturgis area, others want Deadwood, or Custer or Buelah. You can't please the whole group. I can tell you the pros and cons of every place in the Hills, but no one will want to hear them. Everyone has their own idea of what is fun, exciting or a do not miss part of the Rally. Anybody going to the races? probably not, but you all should, that is what started the Sturgis Rally and Races, 67 years ago. Everyone say "Jackpine Gypsies" three times, out loud. Now take a deep breath and stop and think. How do you get a few dozen riders together, in one place and have a good time meeting and greeting? An overcrowded town or someplace that is a bit less out of control? Just up the road from Deadwood is Central City, there you will find WY's casino, good party. The E-H owners hang there on Tuesday. Just get out your maps, people and check things out. You are going to be surprised how fast the next 30 days are going to speed by.

Can I make a Suggestion? How about we try to meet at Drag Pipe (Where is it, Babe?) during the Day on Saturday - cause it's easier to find each other in the Daytime???
History/Deadwood Buffs can meet at #10 on Sunday afternoon if that suits - or - I can go back to Deadwood when it's not so crowded!!!
Seems to me the most important thing is to be able to find each other - - - I know I'm not taking a computer, and SPRINT cell phone service sucked in South Dakota 2 years ago and still sucks in Wyoming. If it works at all it's Roaming which costs as much as parts for a boat.
Maybe we can come up with a color code - like BK'ers all wear a Yellow T-Shirt or something. Or a cheap White T-shirt with "BK" painted on it.

Re:Broken Spoke has a new facility out at Bear Butte, check the website, I'm sure they have one. There is supposed to be camping there, this year. The Spoke, in town is always packed, too hard to find each other, I tried, last year, zip. Still think you're better off in one of the outlaying areas. I'm pushing the Drag Pipe Saloon.

Dyna I told ya I'd drink that beer with ya, and I'm not too good at poker and I'd like to keep my money for gas lol, would'nt want to have to have the new hubby western union me some money cause I lost all mine ina poker game. Still working on getting him to take some time off and coming with me, but if not I'm a big gurl I can go it alone. Have plenty of buddies in deadwood.
