Is there a place that fellow BK'ers can just meet when they are in the area. This will be my first year there so anyone with some ideas for a location for all?

Another website that I'm on meets at the FTS on Tuesday night at 7...we even have a big TBA banner that we put up...although, I think we might change it to the Bone Yard or the Knuckle this year.
You might consider the Broken Spoke in town...
A bunch of us meet for a BBQ on the first sunday at the Chip (I buy a day pass in for that night) and we have a great time!

The company I worked for tool all vacations away for the month of Aug. So I am putting more time in the Texas trip. Not sure if there has been a place made to meet. A few were mentioned but nothing firm. Sorry but I won't be making it this year.

Well.. its down to the wire, but we are definately goin this year. I am so excited. It will be tame for me, cause my husband is coming LOL.. but thats ok.. I can watch:) Anyway, fromthefarm, I would love to meet up with you and whoever else is goin, if there is somewhere arranged.

2 day your taking the short way lol I am leaving from Pa. on the 2nd and will get to Rapid City on the 5th. we are heading south from into St. louis then Kansas then across Neb. then up into S.D. long way out and back.

Bad news for me. At work today they cancled all vacations till the end of Aug. Some of us have to make a trip to Japan and China to get some parts fixed. It is probable that I will have to spend two or three weeks there to help with the mess. I hope to make next year.

I have not been on this blog for a while but it looks like there are ideas still up in the air. FTF, too bad you are heading out on the 6th, it would have been a pleasure to have met you. Fireman, you are the only one that seems to be there for the duration so maybe we will have a chance for the beer. SC, I like the idea of the bib shorts, it could be a trend setter. I hope to meet some of the people from BK up there. The rally is soon approaching so if anyone wants to meet up let me know. Ride safe......

Are any of these places your talking about near Lead? I guess the guys I'll be with have a cabin in Lead. Its my first time to this advent, so I don't know my way around the area well. Just drive through it every now and then in a 18 wheeler. But would like to meet up with you guys if you get a place to meet set in stone. But being it depends on when dispatch gets me in the area. My best time would probably be in the middle of the week also.

Both bars are east of town on 79..out by the Full throttle saloon..
