Summer has finally arrived this year and it has gotten off to a great start. We had the first Cushman Rally about 2 weeks ago, then the rodeo and lots of other upcoming events.

I've only been to Sturgis during bike week. So, here's my take.
1. There's stuff to see around there. Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain, and Devil's Tower are all awesome.
2. During bike week, there's no car traffic allowed in the area. Only bikes. The  city goes out of its way to make you feel welcome.
3. Theres tons of stuff to do right in Sturgis. It's the first place I ever saw "Belt Sander Racing." Championship wrestling! I went into the Broken Spoke Saloon one night and a band was playing with a Janis Joplin look-alike/sound-alike. I said to someone boy, they really sound just like the original Big Brother and the Holding Company, and the guy said "That IS Big Brother and the Holding Company!"
4. Bikes, Bikes, Bikes. Bikers, Bikers, Bikers, and chicks, chicks, chicks. It's like going to biker heaven for a week.
