Where did all the big boys go?
I was at a high school football game the other day and noticed something.
Guys are so much smaller than they used to be when I was in high school.
Highschool seniors are really scrawny and look like they should be in 8 - 9th grade. Not one big guy was on this team.s
Back in the 1970's guys were driving big'ol 4x4 trucks, mopar and cherry bombs were words you heard at lunch time. Guys had to shave. We called them corn fed boys.
Running around hunting in the fall,
summer fun down by the river and most of them could change the oil in their own vehicles. Now they do not want to get dirty, only talk trash and on cell phones or text message.I have friends with sons this age and they can not work on their own cars, have no clue how to do most chores around the house and have never gotten their hands dirty.
It is a scary thing in my opinion.
I told my daughter that a boy needs to be a boy and I hope my grandson can learn how to winterize a boat himself, change his own spark plugs, get grease under his nails and be a real man when needed.I look at a mans hands I do not want someone that their hands are softer than mine and that I know more about my truck or motorcycle than he does........Where have all the real men gone??? I mean big'ol boys .....You can be a pencil pusher by day but on weekends and evenings what do you do? No girly metrosexuals wanted here.......I do not want a man that uses more body care products from Dillards than me.....What do you think girls????
